I sometimes wonder if Touma is entirely human. Touma's body is unique according to Heaven Canceller. Touma's mind is extremely resilient to be able to come up with his act while his arm is cut off as well, and those examples are just from this arc. Touma has his precognition, his negotiation skills, and resistance to most mental and physical pain. He only briefly broke down mentally with Othinus after considerable suffering. Touma is built different.

For othinus, i believe the reason is touma is already broken *before* the billion world, just not a total break down. Think off emiya insanity. Hence breaking him down further into a total break down is extremely hard without pushing the correct button.

Ah, I'm so glad I read the light novel, it gave me so much context to this scene along with a better understanding of Touma's character, of course, however it also left me with even more questions about his powers. You touched up on pretty much everything going on in my brain when I think about his powers. Touma is not the type to act like that he is a very self contained person so this made sense, however in NT22R it showed that there can be exceptions. When you think about it only Touma can use Imagine Breaker to its fullest capabilities I don't think Imagine Breaker chose Touma based on a random selection, but not only because of ''IT'' but also because of his above average body and soul. It seems like IT can negate the same thing's as Imagine Breaker so as long as it's supernatural nothing will effect Touma either. There was also a tiny scene in NT13 of him raising his hands to the sky and him forcefully cracking his arm, maybe IB can be terminated if the user (Touma) wishes for it. Too many questions but few answers I hope Kamachi delivers soon! Great video Aeon hopes to see more theory's. (Wonder where Izzard lives nowadays...)

im pretty sure that touma can use IT or whatever that he has in his arm if he wants. In NT 22 misaki was able to suppress what was about to come out of the right arm by making touma think that the IB was still there, so i think it's more about touma doesn't want to use it more than anything

Isn't it kind of confirmed that IB is like that because of Touma? IIRC the Magic Gods said that Touma was like the universal center that kept everything in balance or something like that, let alone Imagine Breaker or Invisible Thing. God, so many fucking questions.

My thought of what ‘IT’ is kinda of like hollow ichigo it seems to protect Touma and the things he cares about, but when it come to those that harm him they try to take down who harms him. But I think they keep their power to a level that Touma’s body can handle. The clue for was the comparison of his fights with Aiwass and Corozon. With the fight with Aiwass the powers was crushed easily. But with the final battle with Corozon it completely overpowered her with ease and was stated Corozon was only slightly lower in power than Aiwass. But after that Touma arm blew off and then the fake Touma showed up. But this also make me think ‘IT’ was using this to help Touma. The first clue was that while IB went completely to the fake the other power seemed to purposely left a small portion of its power behind in Touma. My thinking is it did that to force IB to the fake Touma. And so the little bit of could start healing Touma and start strengthening his body. What make think it was healing Touma was what the fake said to him that if he had just waited a day he could have saved Misaki. I couldn’t think of how he was saving her until in the genesis novel after Anna infected Touma with St Germain virus while he was by himself he Brought upMikoto and “Her Blonde Friend.” Remember before it could only remember the smell of honey now he remembered her having blonde hair. Now for the strengthening part during the same novel While teaming up with st Germain against Anna his body was using magic Germain while he was still getting injured and it state Germain was using his carbon magic to toughen up his body I still think his body should gave out long before the end the fight.

I wish Touma could go berserk on me.... SPOILERS: But yes, you are 100% spot on about your theory on KnT. In OT2 the novel points out that after Touma's arm is cut off, his eye starts to glow red much as it did in Railgun T. It also points out that something happens to Touma's brain describing it as like a light switch had been turned on almost to say something change in Touma's mind. You notice that Touma does not try and stop Dragon King at all, almost to like he just let the Dragon make a chew toy out of Izzard. Which fits KnT nicely. As for the Invisible Thing...In NT22 Aleister confirmed that he put an Invisible Lock on Touma's powers... He confirmes that the lock is what stopped Touma's powers from beating up Fiamma, Othinus, and Aiwass I guess....Aleister also points out that when Coronzon killed Touma with the flaming sword, she fully destroy the lock which is why she gets one shot by Touma powers at the end of the vol. This lock is also why KnT manages to break free. Again, this is just another theory of mine and the Invisible Thing could be something else we have yet to see.

Fran and Index said that an attack that is capable of destroying the world or is at the level of a magic god is needed in order to destroy the Queen Britannia and the white beam cut it in two

I don't think Aleister placed a lock, rather touma himself made the lock subconsioussly. As shown in nt13 and nt22, the lock only works because he lets it, if he actually wants to, he can release the dragons, fisheggs, and god knows what else at will, he's just in denial about it.

Well according to NT 22 R knT is just an ability. In fear of his own power Touma just make him up. In order to protect his own delusion about himself Touma manifested his own power and gave him mind and objective: Be better than his creator. Whole NT 22R was about a puppet who is just executing order of his master.

One theory, which came to my mind after watching, is about Toumas memory lost after fighing deadlock in NT11: Spoiler If i remember right, while being heavily injured after the fight, Touma still had IB. Still, Misaki was able to use Mental Out on him by bypassing IB but because of low blood pressure, she unintentionally damaged his brain in a way, that he can`t remember her and also can`t form any new memorys of her either. The theory now is, could it be, that IT just erased Toumas memorys of her and is responsible for this whole memory lost? Because from what i understood, IT seems to protect Touma from anything harmful and has a consciousness of his own, so maybe after the whole deadlock scenario, when Misaki used her powers on him, IT thought of Misaki as a "threat" to it`s host and tried to protect Touma from her by altering his memorys in this way? After all, with IB still attached to him, it couldn`t come out and just kill her, so it had to do something else. In NT22R, KnT treated Misaki coldly physically and mentally, maybe it doesn`t mean much and can be explained by saying "this LN was focusing on her, so of course we will see her suffering more than anyone else" but i think the way KnT treated her was still unusual compared to the rest. So maybe she was treated like this because of KnT being the consciousness of IT, KnT hated her more than anyone else it used for its plan. I am not a LN reader, i just stumbled upon some threads and just thought, Toumas own power being responsible for all this instead of Misakis is kind of a funny twist. There is a difference in railgun and toura S1. that was touma hand was severed in S1 but in railgun and S3 it was completely destroyed.i think it was also said that imagine breaker will replace itself after the right hand getting destroyed.

I like how he didn't try this against a certain one-eyed goddess in his death parade fight against her. Not like it running amok would be a danger to anyone in that personal situation. Maybe he thought of what she did in NT4 and disregarded the option. Or maybe, he's the usual Touma: "If it's just an opponent, fine, I'll do it myself". It's scary that Kamachi foreshadowed stuff beyond the IB as early as OT1 but after 50+ novels we are struggling to grasp the concepts. I like your theories regarding KnT. I hope he somehow returns in another way. Again, what would possibly happen if someone in the Kamijou faction gets killed? Will Kamachi cross that line, or he wants to establish that everyone will manage to survive as long as they are influenced by Touma? (RIP Fre/nda, Kagun)

He didn't do it because he never even wanted to kill Othinus. Even if IT is superior to a magic god at full power,(in pure combat and destruction) there's no evidence it can restore worlds(that touma had), so if he had used it to kill her he would've been stranded in an infinite void for eternity, until the true gremlin he didn't know about showed up.

He repeated it again and again. If things proceeded how he thought, in the way he though, then that boy would die. He should die. It was like those misgivings were saying that all of his words were like prayers meant to suppress the great unease sleeping deep in his soul -> The guillotines weren't negated by Touma, by that point, Izzard had enough doubt to cause his power to misfire, that "misfire" simply took the form of being cancelled by an effect similar to that of IB because that's what Izzard believed

Touma's right arm acts as a seal to Imagine Breaker, we all saw what it did here in this scene and fight with Phase Shift Level 6 Misaka and the fight with Fiamma of the right, the true form of Imagine Breaker is a dragon but also makes a new arm for Touma to be able to use At first I thought that Izzard was the one who created that image of a dragon, now after watching the whole series so far, I now understand that it's just Imagine Breaker making Touma look more like a maniac but Accel do it the best

I dunno Rather would view it like this. Dragon and angel are equally ambiguous terms in Toaruverse. Angels range from a fetus (AIM burst), Kazakiri, Gabriel to Accelerator. So are they all "biologically" angels? Or some of them just adapt the physiology?

He does feel pain. In Othinus case, she actually came out of nowhere and crushed his arm like a cookie. It wasn't a sudden cut or obiliteration. So it was a pain of another level.
