This is actually an amazing bag.Great medium sized quick access with a BIG EMPTY main compartment. A minimalist's dream for daily carry. Packing them wool sweaters like it's your business.

Thanks Chase. I sure don't mind the non-packing cube view since I don't use packing cubes and like to see how things look without them. I tend to use big ziploc bags instead of packing cubes because they compress down to save space and keep wet things separate. I appreciate how you keep it real with us.

Chase - I bought the Aer Daypack on your review - LIFE changer! I"m a small business owner, spend 8-14 hours a day on the go and this bag has seriously changed the way I work, and I couldn't be more appreciative! Just wanted you to know that ;) Keep being awesome!

Definitely inspired by the Tom bihn aeronaut, look at that end compartment and shape of the main zipper! Altho this Aer bag does have a laptop compartment, which has always been the Achilles heel of the Aeronaut.

Hey Chase, good video. Sometimes life hits hard, so enjoy each and every second you can spend with your loved ones (i.e. family). My advice to you, having some really tough time right now. But for whichever reason, backpacks also help me to stay sane (when the family that I has not left me yet forever is somewhere else - you know, school, job and such stuff).
@ad64494 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the backpack straps disappearing too as it allows it to go in and out of odd spaces without the straps getting caught on things.

I really want you to do a commuting/workout video. A bag that does gym/swimming/, biking to work and getting groceries before coming home. How about the Roka transition? There are not a lot of videos and resources on that.

Unfortunately I don't have my aeronaut with me :( But very similar. This one's got a better strap/harness setup I'd say. Aeronaut better for duffel carry, this better for backpack carry I'd say.

tom bihn aeronaut vibes for sure. i dig the look of this over the aeronaut (and the load lifters + trolley strap) but doesn’t compare in overall function/versatility. also, i oughta get me a travel foam roller! thx for bringing that to my attention!

Check out the guns @10:09. All that clean livin' is paying off. 💪🤣 Seriously though - all of a sudden I wanna buy everything that Aer makes. I got their City sling for Christmas and now I just can't enough of that look. Buuuuuut - I promised myself that a certain bag from Pakt would be my next travel backpack when it comes out since it looks so. damn. classy. in the preliminary pics. This one really reminds me of my Aeronaut but with more organization and nicer straps.

Thanks for another great review. Probably not for me though. A bit too heavy. I like my one bag travel to be 2lb or less. With most airlines having 7kg weight. 4.4lb is about 2kg. 45L is maximum do I'd go for 35L if the weight was right. The world can do with a more love. Keep up the great work.

The review ive been waiting for, thanks Chase, that top pocket ks very useful if you have the bag on the bottom of chair on the plane, it is easier to get your stuffs. i just wished there was a try on on both the big and small capsule bag to compare. If you were to choose the capsule or travel pack? Thanks

KZbin is weird, man. We, as the viewers and subscribers develop a relationship with you, as the creator. We feel like we know you. But you don't know us. I've gotta imagine it's cool, yet weird to know that people get concerned for your well being when you go 1 week+ without uploading. I guess this is just a long winded way of me saying "it's good to have you back."

Hi, which would fit more stuff, the tortuga setout 45 or this capsule 40? Kind of a dumb question but this capsule doesnt seem to fit too many things in its main compartment. Thank you so much.

Hey Chase! Nice overview of this bag. But this vid feels different than your usual, not enough Chase life philosophy. That top pocket seems like it was designed for under the seat grabbing things, but it looks like it would fail in quick grab and go when the bag is on a chair or on the floor next to your seat in the boarding area or a lounge. Also the single bag digital nomad bag feels like a crowded space. I’m a small business owner/startup guy. I had to go cross country for business and would love a single bag that I could carry on. But I had to carry dress clothes, shoes, plus tech, book, and snacks. I also needed a bag I could bring into the room. This Aer collab would have been too informal. So I’m stuck dual bag carrying. Pacsafe backpack and Pakt One should get bag this last trip.
@lavern53164 жыл бұрын
Chase, pls don't take your face out of the frame too long when showing details of the bag. You know your loyal followers are mostly here to watch you talk about bags for at least 40 min and of course where you dump your business papers and snacks! PS. Can't wait for your own collab bag!

Kinda torn between this or the travel pack I’m having a hard time choosing, currently I’m using just a small-ish old jaguar suitcase (25inX16Xin not sure how deep ) to lug around but man I need a backpack. Generally i prefer buying one solid product and put the money down for it and use it for years and years down the road. Just am pretty indecisive

Thanks for the reviews! But, dude turn the nice warm light on! Also now that you are better let's grab that Mushroom coffee and make some more uplifting and sweet reviews! Personally I am looking for a small office/ gym bag with convertible carry options that has the ability to hold my 13 inch laptop, maybe one wool sweaters worth of clothing, and my lunch glass container thing.

First off, I hope you feel better Chase! Secondly, this bag is really interesting... like the TB Aeronaught, a little modernized and better harness. Third.. how the heck do you keep from getting sick in Mexico? We go every year... two weeks from now again in fact and I get the stomach thing every dang time. Fourth, always love your videos. Sincere thank you! However... the lighting is much warmer with your prior set. Dramatic doesn't work so well and it's too cold. Eyes are drawn to warmth. The audio was very detached from the video. It wasn't a sync issue. It sounded more like a VO and very detached (less embodied). Your audio previously was pretty amazing as well as the lighting. I know you are experimenting as you said. This reminded me of Bo's lighting a bit, every time I watch his videos, it's the thing I complain about (to myself... in my head... drab lighting...ugh.). Ok, what Cicero said. Out.

What's the point of this bag other than to piggyback on a Japanese name and Japanese capsule hotels (which leads to an odd opening for the bag)? Seems unnecessary given the rest of the Aersf line.
