yep as everyone says NO CGI..with the passing of time their work grows in stature..This and the Moonraker parachute scene are easily some of the greatest stunt work ever carried out in motion picture history... never stop getting the shivers watching both sequences..deeply the acknowledge the bravery and courage of these incredible stuntmen Thank you so much for posting BTS

That scene blew me away, knowing when the film was made and how they must've done it. The train scene is pretty bonkers too.

This is the beauty of old Bond movies, they pushed the limits with the stunts and went out of their way to do as much of it for real as possible. Now you have a mix and match of stunts and bad CGI, I love Daniel Craig but some of his action scenes look more phony than some of the stunt doubles in the old movies.

He's not really wrong, they did the jump but they put in unnecessary cgi weather which made it look a lot less real than this one.

I dont much care for CGI it can look realistic but just feels empty and you know theres nothing really there or no matter how well lit and the lighting is on the actor, you just know they in front of a giant green-screen like the Rock in Skyscraper.

I am rewatching the bond movies now. I have a new appreciation for the Moore films, although I still think most of them are underwhelming. But in terms of practical effects and insane totally real stunts - Moore's movies consistently made history and broke records. The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, Octopussy, even the car stunt in the Man with the Golden Gun. I probably liked Spy and Moonraker the best as films, but I don't think any of them have a top ten status on my list. But the ski jump stunt? The free fall one? The sugarloaf cable car stunt? This Octopussy plane fight? These things are insane! Real people actually did these things.
