Thank you so much for your tips. Regarding your tip number 8 about auto folding and lock. From the factory my Ronin RS4 Pro was trying to completely fold on turn off with my heavy Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K and the roll arm smashed the lower arm. This happened 2-3 times. Only after that I discovered this setting. Do you think my gimbal motors are already damaged because of what happened and should I send it back to DJI? I am really worried now.

I was never able to use the raveneye with my fx3 on the RS2 and I'm not the only one experiencing issues with sony cameras and the raveneye. I'm getting the RS4 Pro: will the raveneye work now ? Thanks!

So any tips on setting up zoom lenses with the lidar? I have a 18-35mm sigma cine and 50-100mm. What focal length should I choose for each or does it matter? Also looking into hibriht monitor with the had held focus and grips, can you have both hooked up at same time to get FIZ control from handheld and gyro from grips?

Okay, so quick question, when you were talking about customizing the "M" Button, you told us that you have it set to the Lidar AF/MF, and then you switched to the "Video Input" screen on the Gimbal, i was just wondering if you NEED the Lidar system to be able to use that "Video Input" on the Gimbal screen?

I don't know any pro focus pullers using DJI transmission. The latency just isn't there.

With the RS3 i can use an xbox controller with raveneye and control zoom, is there some reason why I can't get that to work with the RS4 pro? Im wondering if its a setting. I would love to see a video showing zoom with the xbox controller

Hi there! I learned so much from your Smallrig Ring/ RS3 Pro Setup Video last year. Do you know if the new RS4 Pro works with that same Smallrig Ring? I just realized that ring is discontinued at B&H, but I don't want to switch to Tilta's ring unless I have to. Thank you again for sharing so much with us!

Thanks. I just got mine and the top lock for the tilt does not have a prominent click to it. Is yours the same by any chance?

Define "prominent click" - I can hear mine very firmly click into place. Like audibly and then it does not move anymore - if yours feels mushy or off, I'd send it back the DJI

Will the RS4 work with the Small Rig Battery supply?

Keith - I just upgraded to the RS4 Pro so that I could run the vertical setup on my stabilized car gimbal mount. However, the transmission system does not fit on the gimbal when setup for vertical shooting. Any thoughts or tips there? Thanks!

The transmission is mounted with a coldshoe to the bottom of the RS4 Pro, you could use your cameras hot shoe or camera cage cold shoe for the transmission instead of the RS4's mount

I have a question, in regards to the battery life, I've used it very little right now, I just purchased it, however I do feel the battery percentage goes down fast, to the point where I can't believe this battery can last 13 hours, is it just me or is this something that has happened to others?

This depends on a few different things, how many accessories you have attached to the gimbal, how heavy the camera is, how well balanced, etc. The larger battery does last longer, especially when the lidar, focus motors, etc are powered by the gimbal

I used the Tilta extension handles - have a handheld rig video coming up with the DJI monitor on the camera using the extension handles. Will shoot that when I come back from NAB in a week or so 👍
