People really love these, wish I found some M4e1 lowers in stock. I settled for a Gen 2 of the older one, but it still should be solid when I get it. Hope this race settles down enough to get the newer one at some point.

You guys make an awesome product… the only problem for me on all of my aero precision builds is the fact that there is too much slop between upper and lower receiver.. i know the nylon tipped screw is there to help but it pushes up on the upper and creates unnecessary gap and also does not do anything for the front portion of the receiver… might I suggest oversizing the locking lugs 1 thousandth over to help with that… if you have a better suggestion please help… would like to just buy a lower from you that works and not have to buy oversized take down pins from other manufacturers

I’m confuse on the lowering kit between the AR15/M4 and the M4E1 MOE. What is the difference between these two? I don’t need the trigger. I have a AP AR15 Stripped Lower Receiver, Gen 2 w/ Trigger Guard.

This is all great but doesn’t help me if Primary Arms who is local to me can’t keep these in stock. Needing a M4E1 stripped lower to complete a build but having hell getting it. Almost tempted to buy a Anderson since that’s all they have left.

knottheory79220 i had a hard time on my ar pistol build in 7.62 Mostly the barrel, i went with a 10.5” faxon gunner barrel. I had not heard that aero would be putting out some 9mm lowers. I have a Foxtrot Mike i am going to build out next, just need to figure a barrel length

We include it in our M4E1 LPKs. It's not something you HAVE to use. Just something you can use. Also, including it creates confusion for customers that don't know what it is, believe it or not. We have had this conversion 100 times internally.

Aero Precision, LLC That part is useful. It is specific to your lowers. One should be supplied with each lower, not just in your specific LPK.

My lowers did come with the set screw for the bolt release catch, I still haven’t gotten one with the set screw in the back. Didn’t know it was supposed to have one

lets face it there isnt any difference between the rifle and pistol lowers.......its more a matter of what u add to it. Try living in my shitty blue state! Here we call AR pistols "others" and if they are not to our state specs we cant buy it. On top of that it has to be purchased as a whole firearm, then be kept in its configuration! We cant change it or customize it in any way :>/ Thats why i just sold my home and plan to buy some land in a "free" state!? A place i can wake up on a Saturday or Sunday morning and have a coffee and go out on my back deck and plink at targets! Maybe hunt some hogs as well? Also ill be able to buy magazines, with more then a 10rd capacity! HEHE This state SUX!!!! Just try and see if you could live in my state of shitty New Jersey!? Commrad Murphy would love to see people moving into our state rather then fleeing it!!! HAHA I dont plan to move out of the state as i plan to fight the tyranny and corruption in our state as our states Governor has said on National T.V. that and i quote "You already know how i feel i think only the military a nd law enforcement should be allowed firearms....period! The man is as crooked as any MS13 member!!!

It does not. The 440 set screw is included in our M4E1 lower parts kit.

Perhaps Aero Precision can confirm, but appears there is another difference: the X15/Gen 2 comes in five color choices - Black, FDE (tan), Burnt Bronze, Olive Drab, or Tungsten the M4E1 appears to only come in two color choices - black or FDE

I love your products, but you need to tighten up your inventory labels. Someone put M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver UPC labels on stripped threaded upper receiver boxes. I was told I'm not the only person this happened to. Luckily I found one elsewhere because M4E1 Enhanced Uppers are pretty much sold out everywhere. With these extended shipping times, and the hassle of having to return an incorrect item, those boxes need to be labeled precisely.

For the most part, yes. The M4E1 does not need a trigger guard obviously, but the M4E1 and X15 are both made to milspec dimensions and standards and will take any milspec parts.

The 308 lower has 2 springs that are captured by the handle, but there is only one hole to aid in this process. Adding a second hole to a standard handel would eliminate the issue, I would rather have a hole and not need it on the 15 than need the hole on the 308 and not have it. This end plate 440 capture plug and spring is a nighmare. How for the love of live are we the builders supposed to get that spring compressed to the point where you can thread the plug in the hole. I am a fan of your lowers both the 15 and 308, however your name is Precision but your part kits are just standard kits. Small efforts can yeild the largest rewards, cut the spring and drill a hole.
