The legs are titanium and will have fairings. This airplane is not complete at the time of OSH '24.

Let's ignore the hundreds of flying Sonex aircraft with the same titanium gear and pretend your comment is valid. Or not. This is the Sonex version of the Wittman design and it is light plus works great.

Who let the clueless person in? 🙄 It's called engineering. They've done their load analysis and it's plenty strong with sufficient additional safety margins. Overbuilding parts is heavier, more expensive, and unnecessary as this is NOT a backcountry airplane.
