Aeronca Champ Flying Up to see The Travel Air 6000

Flew my 1947 Aeronca Champ up to Urbana Grimes airport ( I74) to see the progress of the 1929 travel Air 6000 restoration progress. Hope you fed Nancy somewhere along the line. I've found if ya keep a woman fed, they're a much better traveling companion. Love the progress of the 6000. Such a rare airplane. I had a friend who restored a Travel Air 6000 years ago. I got to fly it from the right seat. Roll down the Model "A" window cranks and stick your elbow out the window while your flying. I'm guessing they have the wicker seats restored too? Maybe ready for Oshkosh! That Wright R-975 is a piece of art in itself! Thanks Dewey!

I love the smell of butyrate & nitrate dope (probably why I did so poorly in school lol), I've covered a few model's with silk and dope.
