4:59 This one line is my favourite part of the video. Even if I weren't interested in the UAV, I'd still watch the video just to hear that line. 😁

I would use it to carry out a grapple sinker for slide baiting.
@Fishingreminder3 ай бұрын
thanks Craig, that is a good idea. I was thinking about that a while ago. You could probably just fly the live bait out to where you want it. It should survive a little air time. If it is on a slider and say the sinker is 300 meters out, it would take a little while for it to get to the end. But on the other hand perhaps that could be a good thing as it would cover quite a bit of water.

@Fishingreminder alot of opportunity to get munched by a Tasman kingfish
@Fishingreminder3 ай бұрын
@@craigwheaton2506 I wonder what would happen if let's say the slider is half way down the line and then get's nailed by a kingie. There wouldn't be much tension to set the hook and there'd be like another 150 meters of line before the slider would reach the sinker. I haven't done much slider fishing - but do you think this could work? I'd be keen to give it a try.

That controller looks almost identical to my Hubsan Zino controller.

thanks man, yeah I got the idea for that when I wanted to drop berley with the drone and then Hyeshin thought that would also be pretty good way to feed the chicken, haha.
@johnchan-q9h2 ай бұрын
Is this drone made by Hubsan? The controller looks almost the same as the Zino's, also the tune it plays when you switch on the drone is the same as the Hubsan Zino.
@Fishingreminder2 ай бұрын
Perhaps some of the electronic components are being used in both controller.

mark i read the owners manual aeroo pro caring payload 18 minutes battery life they recon in the book dont exceed 25k winds i will stick to my old faithfull phantom 3

and the carry load was only 250gs
@Fishingreminder3 ай бұрын
The phantom 3 is also a good drone. I still have mine. It has a similar payload capacity, wind resistance, etc. The aeroo feels a lot more solid though and I like the mechanical bait drop, the design and the long transmission range.
@Fishingreminder3 ай бұрын
The aeroo pro has a payload of 1kg. You might have looked at their previous drone model. That wasn't quite as good.

Hi, I have heard on the Aeroo fishing drone Facebook page that the batteries have to be ‘activated’ and some ppl have problems doing that. Apparently an internet connection is required. My understanding that this is a once off procedure and is different to charging. Please can you shed some light on this cheers
@FishingreminderАй бұрын
Yeah, you need an internet connection to download the app and first time activation. But once everything is setup and activated you can fly without internet connection. It's only the initial setup procedure. Although I can't remember having to activate the batteries separately in the latest release model. I only remember that I did this in the beta test version of the drone.

I've been watching your videos for a while. Always wondered how do you make money keeping things up going?
@Fishingreminder3 ай бұрын
Haha, yeah I wonder about that too sometimes 😂 KZbin is not a great source of income for small channels. Making videos is lots of work with little reward. But at least it's fun to make videos. And sometimes we get to test out some cool products like the Aeroo Drone. But we also run an international fishing website - fishingreminder.com and thousands of people from all over the world use our site daily for their fishing times and that's how we can keep going and how people can support us :)

Disagree - it's an aircraft and not a submarine. Why would you want to put it in the water?
@redherring97152 ай бұрын
too much salt in the air ,electronics and other parts don’t like it You can’t rinse it off like on the swell pro drones If the drone comes in contact with water or sand it’s game over
@Fishingreminder2 ай бұрын
@@redherring9715 well, I never had a problem with salt in the air causing any damage to my drones. Are you speaking from personal experience? Have you used anything else besides as swell pro? I have fished with drones since 2018 and I don't take good car of them at all. I just wipe them down if I feel they are dirty. Never had any issues with corrosion or sand. Even after crash landing my DJI phantom upside down in the wet sand it did not fail after a good clean and dry. The electronic components are pretty much rust proof and so are the motors. I never felt the need to rinse down my drone after fishing.
