Aeropress Recipe: Coffee Ratio: 60g Coffee to 1 Litre of Water (0.06 x Total Volume Required = Grams of Coffee Needed) Step 1: Rinse Filter Papers & Preheat Brewer | *Tip - Use two filters for a cleaner brew* Step 2: Pour in ground coffee and tap brewer to flatten grounds. Step 3: Tare scales, start timer and pour to the top | *Tip - Swirl on the pour to coat all of the grounds* Step 4: Allow brew to steep for 30 - 35 seconds. Step 5: Give 5 stirs with the paddle (or back of a spoon if you lost yours). Step 6: Let coffee steep for another 45 seconds. Step 7: Flip the Aeropress and gently plunge with elbow at a 90° angle. Step 8: Remove Aeropress, swirl brew & serve.

Ty. Have used it for 3 years. Then switched to French press. Found that the plunger gets worn after several usages. I did not reverse the press like you did…imagine that. Hmmm.

Awesome! What grind size would you recommend? Let’s assume I have the Hario Slim grinder, like you… thanks in advance!

What is the grind size? It looks a bit like more “fine” rather than “medium coarse”
@feindcoffee4 жыл бұрын
Hey Enis, the grind is medium to coarse but does not always show up well on video. It's quite a difficult thing to convey through the video format unfortunately. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Good advice. This is the second vid I’ve watched, and once again, I feel that the lengthy introduction is unnecessary. No need to show all the steps before explaining them.

Thanks Calder! We appreciate the feedback. Still being very new and fresh to the KZbin platform we are always looking to improve our videos. Cutting down the videos to make them punchier is definitely something we have been working on so hopefully this improves for you guys over the coming vids!
