Aerosmith couldn’t make a bad album in the 70s. A killer tune from them is their cover of the Tiny Bradshaw song, “Train Kept A’Rollin”! Superb example of how nasty Aerosmith could be, at their peak!

"Last child "same album rocks. "Nobody's fault" same album rocks And that's just part of the first side. This band had a lot if talent until it went commercial pop
@Mr.Ekshin2 жыл бұрын
Well, you gotta admit they "went commercial pop" for a reason. They were making gold and platinum albums and selling out world tours... and still coming home broke. It wasn't until they went mainstream that they finally started making real money. That was the way the music industry operated back then. The record companies used and abused the musicians, and ended up with the lion's share of the money. Their goal was to keep bands in debt, and thus having to constantly crank out albums and do tours in order to keep the gravy train going.

@@Mr.Ekshin that ain't true they're the highest selling American rock band
@Mr.Ekshin2 жыл бұрын
@@ki11atj49 - It IS true... and they were constantly teetering on the edge of being broke, until they finally managed to get out of their contract with Geffen. For their first ten albums (about two decades of music and hard touring), David Geffen took 50% of everything, and the five band members had to split the other half (they each got only 10%). It was in 1991 that they finally signed with Sony, and started making real money.
@ki11atj492 жыл бұрын
@@Mr.Ekshin so the problem was the manager not the music they made they didn't have to go mainstream from what I just heard
@Mr.Ekshin2 жыл бұрын
@@ki11atj49 - I really don't know what you are getting at. They were never some kind of underground act. They've been making 'mainstream' music from the very beginning. In the 1970's, rock and roll WAS 'mainstream' music. In the 1980's they embraced the 'hair band' genre and rode the MTV wave. In the 1990's they were still riding the charts and making headlines. They have had hits on the radio throughout most of their existence as a band.

Anything and everything from Aerosmith's first 5 albums and you cannot go wrong. 1st album "Aerosmith featuring Dream On" 3 2nd album "Get Your Wings" 1 3rd album "Toys in the Attic" 4 4th album "Rocks" 2 5th album "Draw the Line" 5 I ranked them out to the right, just my preference. My first concert in 1976 was the Rocks tour

@@michaelwuttke5841 I can see that. I just loved all the stuff on GYW since that was the first album from Aerosmith that I ever had. Grew up on seasons of wither, spaced, lord of the thighs, sos too bad and woman of the world. Steven Tyler stomping on a piece of plywood in the outro. He also had tambourines attached to his boots to get that "giddy up" vibe. They used cap guns to get the whip crack sound as well.

Songs like this gave Steven Tyler one of his nicknames, "The Demon of Screamin'". This is from one of their most popular albums, ROCKS, their fourth, any of the first four is pure gold, every song. Aerosmith, Get Your Wings, Toys In The Attic and Rocks, are the first four. Draw The Line and Night In The Ruts aka Right In The Nuts, are the next two, and you can start to see a slight decline. Just doo them all, as they say "It's ALL good."

Don't listen to them Biz!!! 😖😁 The 80's Aerosmith music rocks too.... to prove it, please do their 1986 collaboration version with RUN DMC of their 1975 song "WALK THIS WAY".... then do their original 1975 version..... and YOU be the judge!!! 😉😅
