it's weird - born in '83, I grew up hearing them on the radio all the time, but my dad was a Beatles snob and they're awesome too (obv) so I listened to lots of that (and jazz and classic rock etc), and never much Aerosmith. Just two weeks ago I listened to 'What It Takes' (Live Pittsburgh '93) on a random KZbin click, and was blown away. And now I'm a fan. Listening through the albums. Listening to lots of live performances. They had magic. 'Back in the Saddle' Live Houston Summit '77 is nuts good. And then so is Rag Doll and Love in an Elevator and Janie's Got a Gun. So many great songs, and then his stage presence was just wow.

Man. This is the golden age of Aerosmith’s second coming for me. I know people love Pump, but Eat the Rich is just so fucking heavy. Band was firing on all cylinders. Joey KILLING on the kit. I don’t think Joe had ever played better (or looked better lol) Loveeeeee it edit: not me thinking i'd found an aerosmith concert i'd never seen then realizing i'd left a whole-ass comment five years prior lol. also dope to see brad playing his ernie ball evh!

Other than the Stones, there isnt any other rock band that spits out more hits than Aerosmith. If they had a concert and played every radio friendly hit, we're talking 5-6 hour show. You're a beast Aerosmith! BTW, Stones are retired.....

Well actually there was, a dutch rockband Golden Earring. Formed in 1961, had tons of hits in Holland and Europe and some in de US. They performed untill 2019, then came Covid and then guitarplayer and co-founder George Kooymans was diagnosed with ALS early 2021 when the band inmediately deciced to quit. Aerosmith even opened for them in 1974, in 1978 Golden Earring was their support act. Where Joe and Brad were some years offline in the Aerosquad, and even Aerosmith was not touring some years, the Earring stayed on the road each year with the definitive line up since 1970. And were about to go on if not…..

Awesome show - I was amazed when I saw this tour how little old material they played and yet the show still kicked so much ass. They hit the strongest songs from Pump and Get a Grip. The show I saw also featured Seasons of Wither - which didn’t go over extremely well because the neo-Aerosmith fans didn’t know it, sadly. They played it so good though. My show was oversold so they opened the whole arena bowl up even behind the stage. Me and my friends were back there and Steven, Joe and the other guys would deliberately walk behind the backline and guitar racks and rock out right in front of us. I’ll never forget it.

The magical turning point for Aerosmith.... when Joe quit the band and did JPP, had a new lead guitar on Rock in a Hard Place, which was hard, Joe came back for the second rising of the Kings of hard rock on Done With Mirrors. They havent slowed down since. Madd respect for the Mass Boyz....

I had a bootleg of this Brussels show back in the mid 90s and must've worn the cassette tape out with how much I played it. So cool to finally see the video of this gig. One other thing I admired about this show from having listened to it so many times was how you could tell Steven was sick and his voice was cutting in and out at times, but man, what a passionate performance he turned in nonetheless.

Spot on comments everyone! Man this is a TREAT video has surfaced! Had the audio and listened many times! Such a hot night and awesome crowd! Mutual feeding off the energy ;-) Joey in fine form...thought there was an amazing Red House? but realized that was only on Pump tour. Im trying to remember why this show sticks out for me as being exceptional, but can't recall atm. Love how Steven gets mad when Joe misses the vocal cue in Train! Saw the Jones Beach NY shows and both NJ (end of tour) shows....snuck into the fan club meet & greet aftershow too.... but i digress

This video bootleg has never been particularly rare, you could have "easily" purchased it in some dodgy record shops in Brussels if you knew where to look for. The same guy has taped Aerosmith 4 more times, but he never kept his shots for himself. Selling or swapping was quite common for him
