@@dimitrisjimmygtheodorou8478 Of Wolf And Man was only used once as an opening song. Ever. Wherever I May Roam only twice. Ever. Both of which on this tour. The rest of the shows were either Enter Sandman as the opening song or Creeping Death from late 1992 onwards. Most people don't understand how hard it is to play these kinds of songs for that long or how much it takes a toll on your body. My back would be totally jacked from having one of those explorers or LPs slung over my shoulder for hours (I own one of the EXPs James has, they're heavy af, Kirk's LPs are NOT light either), arms would be exhausted and hands cramped up.

This is the Metallica I grew up on.This band was a machine back in those days. Uncompromising and unapologetic, in your face metal and Jason was an integral part of that. He is so sorely missed nowadays. They haven’t been worth a damn since he left. Soft and lame as hell. Maybe it’s because they’re older now, but it’s nowhere near the band in this video.

@@billhaltomjr.7964 not even close to being true. Jason was a good bassist. But he was more of a performer and showman. Rob is just that much better of a bassist. He makes the band play better.

The black album marks the end of Metallica for me personally. I tolerated Load and Reload, but after the black album, it just wasn't the same. Jason was the true soul and the power behind Metallica. After I've learned why Jason left, I lost whatever respect I had for the rest of them. Now, what's left are good memories of an awesome time in the 80s and 90s.

You know they are allowed to make their own choices right ? God forbid a band do what they feel is best for them . They dont deserve one shred of the hate they get . As if they should keep your prefrences and expectations at the forefront of everything they do . Lol come on man. Its like people with this outlook still find a way to come to everything metallica releases just to say the old stuff is better and that they dont like metallica anymore lol its really weird . As if all old metallica songs are the end all be all to metal for some people . Good lord i dont like the newer stuff as much either but i still tip my hat and respect them as human beings , leaving my prefrences out because thats how i would want to be treated if i were in their shoes .

For 3 straight years they toured non-stop on this album. Unfortunately (and also ironically since I'm using it) that the internet has destroyed the music industry. At least as far as live performances go. Now in order to see your favorite band, you most likely have to go to a festival like Coachella or Bonnaroo and its gonna have 30 other bands on the bill. Gone are the days when a band could headline a tour with one other act and an opener and still have it be profitable. And sadly the chances of finding who you want without waiting forever has diminished.

This brings me back quite a few years, I saw them on this tour in Dortmund, Germany (Westfalenhalle), October 1992, I still have the ticket tucked in a Metallica LP. I was 17 and this was my very first big stadium-concert. I remember Germans asking me for weed all the time when they found out I was from Holland. :-)

I was 18 in 1992 and saw Metallica two times that year. Once in February at the Inglewood Forum and 8 months later at the Pasadena Rose Bowl coheadlining with GNR which was about a month before this. Thank you so much and God bless you a million times for posting this great and precious concert video. There are no words to describe how bad I want to go back to 1991 and 1992 and see these bands again. 💯⭐️♥️🏁🏁🏁

I have seen Metallica with Cliff, Jason and Rob. Jason was the best stage presence. Musically no one beats Cliff. Rob is an incredible musician in his own right, probably a better guitarist than both James and Kirk honestly.
