Yeah good luck getting through the recruitment process. I applied, was accepted, passed all medical and tests, yet sat in limbo for 8 months due to paperwork backlog internally. I went and found a different career. Fix your recruitment process, especially during a time when retention has never been worse.

Sounds about right. I was offered a position. My application process was so brutally inefficient and drawn out that it made second guess my decision. I decided I’d stay in the private sector doing the same job where I get paid more money and don’t have to sign my life away for 4 years.

Seems the recruitment process has been a lot better this year. I've seen lots of people with 4 month timelines.

I hear lots are stuck in the medical phase.. I'm one of them, did part of it remotely over the phone today.. and for the rest... no date.

Aerospace control activities always drew my curiosity from my childhood. Growing up in a small hill city during the pre-internet days, watching a radar in the hilltop spinning, clearly visible from my residence always made me wonder with excitement and longing to have a physical look at that radar station.
