I was thinking the same thing. Land your STOL plane on it's wheels. Give it a blast of reverse. Stop in 2 feet on pavement.

That's great. Which channel should I use for a two-channel remote control? One channel is the steering and the second channel is the throttle. Should I perhaps carve a third channel out of wood?

Many people buy parts off of your site for Combat Robotics. One of the most popular things to do is to buy hobbyking esc's and program them to be reversable. This allows you to use Brushless motors (with gearboxes and wheels) to drive the robot. This product seems convenient for saving programming time, but is there a way to turn off the safety reverse delay, and control it with aileron/elevon in order to easily drive a robot with two of these esc's on one receiver?

Will there be a 120amp version? And a follow up, can you program the switch to be at full throttle reverse without any input from the throttle stick? (For EDF applications, you need full reverse, so the jet doesn't go off the end of the runway)

I have that esc and it comes down smoking hot after every flight just cruising on 3s. Lol it felt like garbage to me

Hello everybody. I LOVE my Tundra! After ger use to it, I want to explore over water. I believe I did program everything ok on the radio (Taranis X9D). When throttle (ch3) is enabled, reverse (ch8) is disabled, and vice versa. I cant make spin reverse even when I change throttle (ch8) to reverse (ch3). The reverse channel never works, no matter what channel. Is my 1st go bi-directional. Could please someone help? Coud it be a faulty ESC? Thank you all

make sure the travel on the channel you assign the reverse to is +100 in one direction and -100 in the other.

@@HobbyKingOfficial no change. I try different kill switches to make sure throttle was at -100. How can I test if my ESC is faulty?

@@HobbyKingOfficial if I power the receiver independently, I should be able to ignore de BEC cable and power the plane using the reverse cable as throttle. When I do this, de ESC doesn't bip start

Is this the same ESC as the one that came in the Skipper XL Stuart? Or would you consider it an Upgrade to the SkipperXL's ESC? Makes me think of 'preselect' gearboxes (which were 'a thing' in cars of the 50's I think?)

DutchRC Adventures nope, it's not the same, but it is the reason we now have the RVS range as it was soon clear we needed a better solution.

it appears that hobby king has no intention of restocking this. i noticed the 60 amp reversible and the 60amp non-reversable are the same with the exception of the two wires soldered in. I tried this but i had no luck getting it to work which probably means it needs to be programmed. can you please help me figure this out? i really need one of these. I will pay you if you tell me how you did this.
