XP is rewarded for damage done & caps, not teamplay, which is why the CV that played in a way that doesn't maximize damage was quite low in the team despite being invaluable to the overall victory. Support is so rarely rewarded; even spotting damage (let alone RPF localization) is negligible in terms of XP. It's a gigantic flaw in the game if you ask me but hey... At this point, it's the least of WoWs worries.

I was playing team oriented Shokaku. Ranked out 116 battles. Teamplaying in random battles gives me unicum/super unicum WR but much lower damage and kills like green/dark green. I just don't like playing selfish and I despise evey super unicum playing selfish.

Perfectly analyzed, but I actually think that it is in fact one of the biggest worries of WoWS. Russian bias aside, this very issue is the reason why we see so much passive play. Instead of playing for the team, tanking, spotting, etc.. players play for themselves and farm damage from as far back as possible. Why even risk your ship, when there's literally no reward in the end?

@@1999invictus I agree with you; do you also fear that this "passive play" is getting even more prominent with the introduction of ships like the Champagne and the Slava, or even the entire new American battleship line? It feels as if, instead of addressing the problem head on, they are embracing this passivity, to an extend.

@@anneonyme213 Well of course they do. Where there is a problem they only see money. Fixing shit doesn't make money and WG does not care about balance or enjoyability, only money. Eventually they are going to remove caps as a whole and just make the games pure deathmatches.

I like to use RL on Shima actually, using the map and the RL indicator have allowed me to sink unspotted ships.

When I do play carrier, I usually end up using fighters to try and keep stuff perma spotted that I wont want to attack directly but do want to inconvenience. like say all the bbs and most of the cruisers on one half a map given how inconsistent they are about actually attacking other aircraft it feels like a better use :/

1.9K average base XP in this thing and over 60% contribution to capture. 37% defence, 117K average spotting damage and almost 1.7 kill average amd 62% WR with over 300 battles. Simply just a DD which it could carry an entire team almost every game. Use kidd for base XP missions :) ( Not to mention the amount of credits it can farm. *missouri crying at the corner* )

Yes, each plane type has independent fighter cover, so 2 or 3 can be active at the same time. It's a good move, but it's surprising you've only found about such things just now, Aerroon. :P

Aerroon The Lex has considerably faster regen time than the Parseval and Saipan do (barely over a minute compared to almost 2 minutes) so it was a safe starting move.

Will someone explain to me how it's a radio POSITION finder....because all it gives is direction, not range, not heading, not even speed, nothing about the location other than direction... It's a Radio Direction Finder, not a Radio Position Finder

No surprise, a well played team oriented CV gets almost no XP and credits... all it gets you is a ton of hate and an empty wallet.... I use my Lady Lex in the same and usually walk away at -80,000 silver/game...
