I really appreciate these videos man. I’ve been having a rough go of it lately having reached tier 5/6. I kind of feel like WG sets you up for failure in that you’re protected through tier 4 battles and then you get thrown into things and get up tiered. I appreciate the commentary. Hopefully it helps me learn the ins and outs.

What lines are you going up?

Imatushimaru I’ve pretty much gone up all lines to T4. I wanted to see which lines and play styles I liked. That’s when I started experimenting with T5 and found it to be quite a shocking transition. I even upgraded to the Pensacola and was still just getting shat on all day. Tried hiding behind islands, going with the group. Maybe I just suck. I’ve played some on Legends and find it a lot more balanced from the beginning on personally. Probably because you’re playing with real people from day 1 and not bots all the way to T4.

@@sledgehammerlion I recommend the Kongo (Japanese BB line) for a good learning tier 5. It has a 30 knt speed and 20km guns. It It's also decently maneuverable. It's sides are squishy so it will teach you how to angle to reduce incoming damage. Also learning the armor layouts and what can overmatched (ignore armor angle) is important especially driving cruisers. wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Armor_thresholds

Fantastic game @Notser. I really love your streams even though its midnight my timezone. I watch your steams to learn more and improve, instead of drool over monster games from other people. You share lots of great viewpoints to the game and make it less frustrating. Please do a GK guide for this current "sit on the back + no teammate push' meta. the GK is the 1st ship that i grind to T10 and I can't play it effectively since if it snipes from range it's "german bb" but when you push you're alone. Hope all is well with you and your family. Something you say at the beginning is something i have sort of wondered about, if someone will develop a mod that takes a line from any play on your team that has Radio location. therefore if two players have it you could have a line that crosses through triangulation of the target... obviously the lines would have to be a little chunky but would give you an idea of were a ship most likely is... but could also give some false positives as you get further from ships. but i think would be an interesting mod and ships did use triangulation so it is not a cheat haha.

@@danielwarren7110 yeah and that's exactly why it isnt allowed ^^ you can communicate with your team about where RPF's aim, if I div with clan buddies who also have RPF we do that, and that's how it's supposed to be used, not automated.

@@ainumahtar I understand your point. It was an idea. But if it is only shown on the mini map, only shows a line from the ship with radio location to the edge of the map. If it is on mod station and approved by Wargaming it is not cheating. I am not suggesting creating something that is not availible to all players. It would not show the ship. Nor orientation, nor type nor give the ability to target it so any fire would be un-targeted. The player would have to watch their mini map to see potential of where a ship is. If you have two players with it yes the lines might cross but if they are fair apart it could be actually seeing two different ships. Approved mods already share data. Last known position on the mini map, ships sunk that you have never seen, amount of health left of the ships on your team and the red team, then there are contentious mods like traffic lights and angle of targeted ship, or time trackers from last fired the list goes on with regard to mods war gaming approves. I am not suggesting people cheat. But that data from your own team is shared. You share with your team I do to when I am IN a ship with radio location by clicking on the map or by typing in chat. But both of them mean I have to stop controlling my ship while I do it (well not control the same way ). We have automatic secondaries to represent other crew on the ship, fire control and so on that would be carried out by a crew on a ship. In real life radio operators or semaphore was used to send data between ships and one of the things used in real life was radio triangulation were two or more ships would make a bearing to data reads. If it is availible to all, it would just make the radio location skills more valuable and not be cheating. No more so than match making putting three radar ships on one team and non on the other, been in many games like that. The mod would not show any ships it would just show on the mini map a line to the edge of the map were potentially there is a ship of some form. For it to be precise the line would have to be too fine to see so it would be something like along this line somewhere there is a ship the line is as wide as a big BB is long, for you to be able to see it on the mini map. And if two lines cross well that might be were the closest ship is or it could just be where two radio location lines cross and even if that is where a ship is,you don't know type, speed, orientation, direction of travel, unless you only look at the mini map. And until you get to the last ship on the enemy team, if your rpf ships survive that long you would never know if it is a false positive where the lines cross

This is one of my favorite dd's, along with my shima.. my only wish is they make the legendary upgrade for the shima not suck so much... that tube turn rate is just to much a risk to use.. if your in a pickle and need a ready to go tube, your most likely going to die befor you can fire..
