If only if only, the sea was non-existent and love letters were telepathic and at night our souls dined in heaven with the stars as seats and amnesia was a myth, even for the wicked. We would be closer.

I love how his whole demeanor shifts when he starts the poem. He gets so comfortable with himself. It was honestly one if his best..

Whoa! ....The people are actually snapping. I've been marathoning poetry slams on youtube for over a week, and this is the first time I've seen the audience snap instead of cheer over the poet. In all seriousness, though, this is amazing.

Miles is definitely one one of my favorite poets in Striver's Row. Love his work, his attitude, his delivery. And I love how he's more comfortable in speaking in verses then in sentences.

sometimes in order to find our true selves we must explore the darker sides of our beings...face our demons head on...and then we shall see who we truly are...

It's funny but I don't know if I'd rather hear his darker poems or yearn for him to make lighter ones for his own sake

Listen man. Thank you for the poetry. n'congrats on the success... If it was at the expense of others keep to the gratitude as best. This is a new one for me... honestly not sure how to feel about it yet. But it inspired me to free write in the comment section here which is rare. Big subject to tackle. Best wishes.
