every time I hear this song I'm always blown away. He has such a raw, fast, and beautiful style. My face is melting. Most of the time I can keep up with rap and sing with the song but I can't with Aesop He Packs so many words and meaning into such a small space It's truly amazing. Whats great about his songs is when you look close enough they all mean something and it's not just some repetitive chorus or gibberish. He is a real artist of Words.

Hip hop isn't dead, it's just not available to the weak minded masses anymore. Let them drown in the mainstream while we honor and welcome the classics and the new of hip hop.

i'd be lying if i claimed i could comprehend everything that aes says in his songs. but what sets him apart is the fact that despite not knowing what the hell he may be talking about, you can still somehow feel and relate to all the things he says.

It is a good song. My interpretation of it is that in spite of all our problems and differences, with desires to leave, but they can't be attained. In the end things don't exactly change, because we're all human.

MF Shark: He adds detail, brings light to the underground nature of things that people don't like to mention. There's a lot of stress underneath the scenes of things. Confusion takes over those that hold money as God. It's abstract, man.

Look, what this song made me do is take my time. I looked at the lyrics, the different interpretations of it, and the possible connections. This song made me stop and think. That is a hell lot more that what I can say for any song on the radio that claims to be proper rap.

I dont think anyone can write this, i've listened to aesops albums over and over again on my ipod at work and the more you listen to it the more sense it makes this is actually one of his simpler songs, the bazooka tooth album is probably his most complex. He is a very talented artist with an excellent rhyme scheme the reason he raps the way he does is to be original and avoid the usual copycat artist who plague every genre of music

There are some of Aes' songs that I can decipher a meaning from, and then there are songs like this. Regardless of what the song is about, You've got to appreciate how articulate and intelligent Aes is... And just because I said I'm not sure what the meaning of the song is doesn't make it an invitation for you to offer your punk-ass explanation of the meaning, sometimes good songs are meant to remain ambiguous.
