Fun fact: Aesop Rock is the rapper with the most unique words used in rap history.
@tazmon1225 жыл бұрын
fun fact: it's less confusing and more on point if you said: Aesop Rock has the largest vocabulary in hip hop history. you can substitute largest with grand, majestic, sublime, or illustrious in conversation.

fun fact: according to a study, he already surpassed shakespeare in terms of verbosity.

Heard today on Swedish radio dat some language researcher/s pronounce Aesop Rock as the No1. hiphop artist with di most advanced/(think it also was new) words using in their first 35 000 words in there first realesed album..how they compared & all dat would be to long to explain but make sense for me..Respect & love to him winning this "appointment/creation" peace out
@piosonj10 жыл бұрын
a study was published which took the songs of around 40 well known and critically acclaimed artists and checked those songs for diverse vocabularies and Aesop was by far ahead of the back with only GZA close behind him. Google Hip Hop vocabularies to check it out.

Okay, I'll bar myself from the concert and audition. Nope, made it anyway. Hope I make it to the tornado shelter. Today, I'm on my way to the driver seat, passenger... Carry my head low as the tears drip from third eye. Carry my head high as I kiss this galaxy goodbye. Buddy, you ain't prepared to stay all night, unlit weed wit as paranoid as a spark. Until I part thee, stay out of the confession booth. Baby Balboa.

Aren't you guys forgetting Music For Earthworms? People stayed up all night begging him to rerelease it....... But seriously, Labor and Music for Earthworms are the best. Labor is probably the best, I mean The Yes and The Yall and 9-5ers anthem..... Those are some essential Aesop tracks.

@diogenesofdesmoines6 жыл бұрын
No, not literally at all--though the line does amount to self-congratulation in much the same way. He doesn't reference vacations in some simple allusion to modern work culture. What he's saying is this: you're a shitty and unremarkable person; you're so shitty and unremarkable that God invented vacations just so others can escape from your shittiness and collect themselves for a bit, else they would go mad; however, he (Aesop) is the reason you, and other unremarkable people like you, were created by God to begin with, because he (Aesop) is so virtuous and spectacular that God, in an effort to bring balance to the world, felt the need to create the huddled masses (you). God was subsequently forced to invent the vacations mentioned previously when he realized he may have overdone it a smidge.
