It's just as dense and creative, but it has more personnel storytelling. The thing about Aes is yeah his verses are dense af with a lot going on in them (especially stuff on like Float and Labor Days) BUT you can atleast get the gist of what hes talking about in most songs I mean I don't get like tons of the references and all that but can atleast tell basically what each song is about. He also has basically the same themes in his music throughout his entire career.. isolation, anxiety and depression, not really being into socializing and stuff like that. This is also why he has amazing replay value like sometimes I'll all sudden catch or get things in songs I've been listening to for like 20 years now lol

I gotta admit I never really enjoyed college that much, but ever since I discovered Aesop Rock I'm grateful I studied literature. I mean holy shit, his stuff is on a whole different level. (And as a non-native speaker I learn a ton of new words which is cool as well^^)

I've been listening to this song on repeat. There's so many things I love about it. Not only does it reflect, accurately, the firsthand POV of the 2020 uprisings, and revolutions in general, there are a lot of bars and wordplay that're reminiscent of the late, great MF DOOM.
