This is definitely my favorite song of yours AP. The flow of the song and the up-beat interludes are really enjoyable to listen to. One thing in particular is your body language. The way you use your hands and arms, your eyes, your entire body, and other expressions to stress highs and lows of the instruments and lyrics is very endearing, and rather unlike other musicians' body language. You have an exceptionally original musical persona that really isn't exhibited with anyone else. I hope you're able to create more music and videos like this one.

Daniel Graves, you inspire me more than an artist has in a long time. I'm teaching myself music production, and I'm easing into trying to produce dark electronic music like this...but I always felt like i'd never be able to break into the scene for one reason or another. Then I find this video, and find more work by you, and realize things are different: 1: You're one guy! You do the vocals and production, as far as I can tell, all alone. Normally dark electronic acts seem to be duos or larger bands, but you've got all the talent. It's possible to do something this fantastic alone. 2: You're american! Most dark electronic acts seem to be based in europe, to the point where I wasn't sure it was possible for an american to do it. But clearly, you were able to, and you're pretty huge. 3: You didn't have to stick to a specific sound...you were able to evolve, and continue to evolve. I find this awesome. Those may sound weird, but you knocked down many of the false mental blocks I had in pursuing this...thank you.

I honestly think this song illustrates - and for me partly summarizes - perfectly the whole philosophy that hides behind the ingenious name 'Aesthetic Perfection'. Although the very first song I heard (and got mesmerizes by) from this band was 'A Nice Place to Visit' (On my search for some good old aggrotech), I don't mind the newly added pop-ish style. In fact, I think Daniel is simply following the philosophy of 'attaining aesthetic perfection' and I'm all in for it. I can only but see a pattern - or a path of some sort - in which you start from rough, harsh and aggressive-looking bag of sharp stones and finish with a chest full of geometrically perfect diamonds. Sadly though, one who chooses the Faustian path quickly discovers ending up with a tragicomic fate of Sisyphus and an unsettling feeling of Never Being enough (since perfection is hardly possible to achieve). But I can nothing but hail, salute and praise those who ascend on this path of Becoming (a path of Change), for it is the one and only true path to fulfillment. Greetings from Finland and soz for any inconvenient misspellings. Keep up the good work, Daniel ; )

one of the defining moments of my life was realizing my depression wasn't something to cure but to manage. Feeling something was wrong with me I needed to get rid of was the worst, especially cause I constantly failed at it. knowing now that it is just a part of me makes things better it took a weight off. I could live a thousand lives but without this struggle I would not be me. Even if that's not your intent that is what I hear so thank you.

Aesthetically (no pun intended) effective with few materials and very good video editing. As for the song itself, I love this pop melodies; I had the chance to see a live performance of this song last August in Manchester and, despite Daniel's bad shape for that specific show, he managed to make it way more intense and aggressive. Congratulations once again for a great song. Looking forward to the new album.

I really think it's amazing. I especially love that this song perfectly sums up why I'm a fan; you're never satisfied. Your voice has come so far since when you first released Close to Human... though I suppose it has been 10 years. I've probably seen you guys at least five times over the years, and each time you are better. And it's not just your voice, each release is more artistically mature than the last. There are few acts that can say that. You age like a fine wine, Mr. Graves. Keep it up.
