Not really. Their haplogroup migrated from Southern Asia to the Philippines around 30,000 years ago. The Austronesian haplogroup migrated from northern Asia down to Taiwan and then Southeast Asia around 10,000 years ago. The Aetas are most likely descendants of the first groups that migrated out of Africa.

There was a slave trade that went from the northwest part of the Philippines to China. There's a tribe of them just a few kilometers from where i live in Real Quezon province in the Philippines 🇵🇭 🇺🇸 and last year we took school supplies and clothes and shoes that were donated by a very generous Japanese business man and distributed the items to the people and it was one of the best experiences of my life. They were so grateful and happy and i will never forget the feeling of being around them. During Christmas they come out of the mountains and go into the cities and ask for money so I've seen them before but I truly had one of the most amazing times of my life the few hours I spent with them that day. I ride my motorcycle in their mountains and I rarely see them but when I do they always smile and wave at me ❤

There is one little town on the Pacific coast of Luzon where they are arguably the numerical majority, as well as well-taken care of (by both the local government and the local mining company that happens to be the largest employer in town) and are relatively prosperous compared to their breathren elsewhere in the country - Dinapigue, Isabela! 😊😎 It is a dramatic but pleasant contrast to their breathren living on the other side of Luzon island (the Pampanga/Zambales/Bataan/Tarlac area) where many of them live desperately poor lives (Mount Pinatubo erupting the way it did in 1991 certainly did NOT help their cause). I won't blame them at all if they decide to migrate to the Pacific coast side...

True story: active duty military. lived in South Korea from 2014-2016. Met a beautiful young lady named Yujin. She was given a Korean name but she was originally from the Philippines, specifically the mountainous region of Luzon. She identified as Filipina, but stated that she had Black blood in her ancestry. She was absolutely drop dead gorgeous. 5’5, honey roasted almond complexion/skin, curvy, full lips, pretty jet black hair, big curvy eyes. Big, bright beautiful smile. A lot of times it's questionable if it's wise to put these people's information out because it only gives an opening for intruders that mean them no good an opportunity to exploit them.
