As a rusted old Gear veteran, back in his days; the chainsaw was ass to use in 1 and 2. Should you get shot while revving it up, you leave yourself wide open. 3 and every Gears afterwards buffed this; once the saw was fully revved, you can't get stunlocked. However, you can still get stunlocked if you got shot, at the beginning of revving it up.

It’s nice to see all these tips. I want to try and play the series with my dad when I get time. I remember watching him play it with my older cousin when I was little and think that they were so cool. I remember nothing about the story of the series but it is still super nostalgic for me.

I’m currently 1.5hrs in; this is wild and you guys are hilarious. Gears 1 was awesome coz it was the first but Gears 2 is what a sequel should be. I played the absolute heck outta that one, even after 3 and judgement. Curb stomp. I voted to save Clayton Carmine. I also have the Band of Brothers dvd box set. Kokoda is another good war movie. Oh… I think I might be a nerd.
