While what the new narrator is doing is not up to the quality that Seiben's work was, she has certainly improved since she initially took over. I'm sorry that you thought it was ever OK to treat anyone like that and that no one ever showed you better, but that doesn't excuse the manner of your departure, it's utterly disrespectful. No one desires to be trashy, everyone wants to seem classy. I doubt that you'll actually consider this because that would require more humility than I would venture to guess you currently possess, but if you do consider this. Ask yourself, would I act this way in front of my parents, a prospective romantic partner, or someone who I admire/esteem? Kindness is a virtue by almost everyone's standards, and note that I'm not defining you, merely describing your behavior. The reason why kaya is my favorite planeswalker is because of her name there's a Filipino word called "kaya" which means "kaya MO yan" or "you can do this" so she inspires me.

Wotc needs to hire a new writing staff or get the people who did the urza saga back in charge. I want another epic like that. This jace and friends got old fast since they never face any lasting consequences. At least let ajani continue on his crusade in theros, he seemed like he had a vendetta against helios at the end of the block and wanted revenge. Also gideon needs to die along with Chandra, there only personality is literally their color identity. Wotc missed the chance to kill nissa back in bfz, could of been something cool like her sacrifice seals away the eldrazi since them being released was her fault

I can see Nicol Bolas having a deal with Tibalt. And then Tibalt would chalenge Rakdos himself on a duel, which he will win with something Bolas gave him, and then Tibalt would become the new guildleader of Cult Of Rakdos. And we still don't know which guilds from Ravnica Allegiance will be on side of Nicol Bolas. From GRN in the other hand, we know that Izzet and Golgari are on Bolas' side, with Vraska leading the Golgari, and Ral leading the Izzet. And since those guilds are being lead by planeswalkers, it is safe to say that two more guilds will be with Bolas. And Rakdos, Gruul or Orzhov are most likely to join him. Also, I want to se a B/R version of Tibalt.

Chief Joseph In one of his articles, Mark Rosewater stated that in Allegiance there will be 3 Bolas-aligned guilds with planeswalkers in charge. One of them is practically confirmed to be Azorius since Isperia’s been assassinated. Kaya’s presence implies Orzhov also being team Bolas, and the flavour text of Street Riot mentions Domri Rade, which if he’s on the plane, means he’s likely to be in the set, under ol’ Nick’s command. Plus with this split, team Bolas and team not-Bolas end up with an even split of the colours, which is a very Magic thing for the to do.

@@NotAnEvilMastermind ok, but only one thing is odd to me. Domri Rade is a U/R planeswalker. So we will either get a new W/U planeswalker, which is more likely, or he would be printed as a W/U planeswalker. But what I believe about Domri is that he will arrive in the third set, possibly Battle For Ravnica. So, Azorious is team Bolas, everything so far is hinting towards Orzhov being team Bolas, and we know nothing about the third guild, which is most likely Rakdos, since they love destruction, which Bolas will bring.

For Azorius i was thinking they could pull in Dovin Baan since he'd fit right in as a Vedalken with some politic-ish experiences, but i'm starting to think it's gonna be the floaty-holograms-looking person on the cover art for the novel mentioned in this video.

I expected the Orzhov to join Bolas since Lazav is against him and the cards show Dimir agents fighting Orzhov and Azorius. That and Vraska killing Isperia might imply Azorius will join Bolas (Dovi Baan maybe? Not know how, but he's with Tezzeret and has the colors) I guess Gruul Clans Will be the last Pro Bolas guild, they have no real leader and with them Bolas would have two of each color

Here is my idea...bolas doesnt want to control the guilds. He wants to make the guilds collapse, and what better than pinning guilds against each other? When Kaya is done killing the council, Teysa will be enraged and go to war with who she thinks hired the assassin which will be most likely Rakdos. Rakdos outraged by these accusations will retaliate violently. Gruul will see this as a perfect time to gain territory, and will not hesitate to join in the Carnage. Simic will see the fighting as a way to prove they are superior. Finally Azorius, now led by Dovan Baan a minion of Bolas will see the fighting and try to bring order through the chaos. A war like this will cause the guilds to fall and with them all fighting Bolas will destroy them guild by guild.

I think people are dreaming (and I could definitely be wrong) if they think a singular planeswalker is going to come in and murder the entire Obzedat. I'm sure you are all familiar with Merciless Eviction? Yeah that is the kind of power the Obzedat possess (pun kinda intended). The Orzhov are immensely powerful, it would be like trying to murder several mafia bosses, all one right after the other, but the mafia is 100x stronger than anything we have IRL because it spans an entire plane, not just regions. Teysa Karlov already tried to put the Obzedat down, and she did it in a much more conniving way than just going in and trying to assassinate them and she failed miserably, why would Kaya succeed?

So, there's been a handful of people saying how they think she's terrible and needs to leave and Seiben needs to return. Guys, you whining about it and berating her isn't going to get you what you want. She's just going to ignore it, as she should. Seiben had a lot of time to improve, give her time and she will become more natural in her reading. Caroline, the one thing that stuck out to me the most: When you thanked the new members and went on to advertise Patreon support more by saying "you can get all the exclusive benefits of being a member of the Vorthos Army" (around 8:40), you undersold the benefits so they came across like they were "sarcastically" beneficial. It literally sounded like you had a tone of disbelief at how poor the benefits were. If you don't sound excited about it, your listeners won't feel excited about it. You're certainly becoming more natural in your flow of speech though. To try to counter things like what I pointed out, just make a little notecard so you don't mumble through them, don't try to remember everything, or even come up with a regular disclaimer that you can quickly become comfortable with just a tiny window to show that it's not a copy/paste at the end of the video. You're doing well, and I am a very critical listener. Now to deal with your most adversarial critic.

Can't really picture Teysa getting on well with Kaya regardless of her killing Uncle Karlov. Kaya would undermine her authority as basically the go-to inbetween Jace and the Orzhov Syndicate which is where her power mainly resides because Kaya would make the Orzhov into Jace (and thus the Guildpact)'s enemy.

I mean who else would fit the bill as a ghost killer than Kaya? The only other planeswalker in that guilds color is Sorin and he’s stuck in a wall last time we checked. They’ve been hinting that Teysa would continue to usurp the ghost council at the end of her story and who better than a literal ghost Assassin. Her card was fairly popular at the time when the introduced her years ago, the community liked the idea of a ghost buster planeswalker, and they left her story open ended. Her being a black woman has very little to do with her being chosen, she’s the perfect person to take them down especially since Jace can’t do it since they have that room immune to the guildpact magic.instead of being “sjw wizards” look at it from a story telling perspective who else could fit that role perfectly or how would you kill of the Ghost council? Kaya is the easiest way to do so without jumping through hoops.
