Britt is not particularly impressive, I think that AEW made a mistake to base so much of their early plans around her, and I think they kind of realized that and course corrected. The only reason that I can think of for her spot is her relationship with Cole and the fact that the guys in the Elite are good friends with him. This is an area where NXT is better, they know who to push as the faces of their women's division.

Depends how you look at it. no Dustin isnt gonna have the most skill when it comes to a million high spots that mean nothing. His skill is knowledge, psycology, actually being able to wrestle and or brawl and be able to tell a real story in and outside of the ring. A real lost art in todays wrestling. And i hope for aew sake they let him program in the near future as a singles competitor with a couple of promising talent to work with under his wing and teach em that lost art and create a meaningful storyline. I am glad tho it seems like he is really enjoying himself being free from wwe shackles.

I feel like some of these matches go a little too long though. Not every match needs to be 15-20 minutes long. Maybe not 5 minutes, but around 10 minutes should do it. Especially when it's their two top female wrestlers against two girls who haven't won anything.

I absolutely love and appreciate that AEW frequently acknowledges the many talents other than the active wrestlers! Referees, ring announcer, commentators, interviewers, etc. They seem to treat every performer respectfully and they're making stars out of non-wrestlers. It's great!

I keep hearing everybody just talk and talk about how weak the women's division is. Yes they need a marquee star to head that division. I love Riho and think she is the best possible option for the time being. I think even though she is not the smoothest wrestler she unquestionably has IT factor because she has proven she can get fans behind her as her matches progress. Does AEW need Tessa Blanchard absolutely yes but because AEW has the best tag division in wrestling and a strong mid and upper midcard it allows AEW the time to develop their women. The women's division is not nearly as bad as some say and the performances are improving as weeks go by.

The issue isn't the division it's pushing baby faces like Britt and Allie most weeks over likes of Gibbs and Shanna. The heels are great but those 2 are hurting the brand as they're not ready, the heels rookies most part either but Statlander and Hayter can hold their own already and they've veterans like Martinez and Sakura to lean on to get heat too but the Baby Faces? Yeah they need a marquee signing to go with Riho.

I would love to see Riho doing some of the shit she does in Japan, she is very nerfed in AEW. In Japan, for example, she wrestles together with Kenny Omega, with whom she is in a mixed Tag Team, and she does some pretty wild moves. I would love to see her doing that in AEW.
