I think TK should hire Shane McMahon as a commissioner. Shane can play a role like JJ Dillion in WCW. That'll be suitable for him. Just don't put him in any position involved creative. If you have more than 2 people have different visions, it's not going to work out.

Shane being part of AEW can be a huge plus as far as a backstage role. Shane's history in the business can't be ignored. But they need to keep him off tv as much as possible. Yes it may boost a quick rating for a week, but that'll be it. I do agree with Jason, it would be best to let Shane run ROH.

I'll tell you why bringing in Shane makes sense. WWE (and more specifically, HHH) is screwing with AEW's business. HHH is a conniving conman who steals everyone else's ideas and used his relationship with his "wife" to get where he is. Shane doesn't like HHH in real life, and now that HHH has some power with Vince now gone, there is no way he wants Shane back in the company. Notice how Shane wasn't involved in Wrestlemania 40, but Stephanie appeared at the beginning of night 2? I'd love to see Shane stick it to HHH/WWE. Then, when HHH starts trashing Shane on the air, Stephanie will turn on him for screwing with her brother. I predict a divorce within 3 years after that as I'm sure she's already pissed at HHH for not leaving with her after Vince sold the company. And Shane has his father's backing, business relationships, and experience to draw from as well.
