I want to say this because it is only out of dream scenario fan boy idea, but I think if there was ever a wrestler who would’ve been good behind-the-scenes as a sounding board I have a feeling Brody Lee would’ve been the guy. I just had this weird sensation that of, any wrestler who could’ve been like not so much a Pat Patterson because that guy was very unique in his ideas, but possibly who knows Brody Lee may have been somebody like that but just for some strange reason, I don’t know why outside of in the wrestling ring and all the things I’ve heard from everybody about Brody Lee and the type of person he wasunder the star dreamed idea that he could’ve been really helpful behind-the-scenes with storylines and and how things will go moving forward anyway I think I just I think I’m just missing Brody to be honest😂

Why does nobody talk about what Shane would get out of this? Everyone is talking about what AEW gets, which is obvious. Shane is a multi-millionaire and not out on the streets job hunting, particularly in wrestling. He gets pitched ideas and says no all the time. I'm sure TNA would do good business if they had The Rock. NWA would improve if they had Stone Cold Steve Austin. But nobody bothers to discuss what about this exactly would be attractive to Shane? There is nothing he could do in AEW or anywhere else that he can't already contribute to the WWE on a larger, more organized scale. What is Tony's pitch exactly? Truthfully, let's be honest, this is only a story if one thing happens The scenario in question to which are referred to, is, if Shane McMahon take's a major / significant position behind the scene's in the company... That is the only thing, the only scenario that makes this a true story If Shane McMahon doesn't have a significant backstage position inset company, if it's just a low-level contributing type of scenario, or he's just a character on TV, it won't mean much long term. He needs to have a significant capacity behind the organization itself, in order for this possible maneuver, if there is one, it needs to be a substantial capacity behind the scenes, forward to mean anything significant If he doesn't obtain that much influence behind the scene's, then Tony's company will just keep going in the direction that it's headed in, which is middle of the road at best currently.. As we speak, it's clear that Tony doesn't take advice from the great minds that already work with him.... That's clear given the struggles of the company the past couple years especially . If Shane doesn't have significant influence in the company, then his role, his presence, will mean as much has any other former WWE related name involved with their company currently.... Which is a short-term boost, but long-term, it won't make much of a difference to their current scenario... That's not biased, that's objective reality, based on everything we've seen the last couple years in particular.... So we'll see what happens with everything, if anything actually does If something does, hopefully it's positive for the industry as a whole. Here's certainly hoping that's the case anyway

Hey guys, great episode as always. Here’s my two cents as probably worth more one than two back in the day Shane was very innovative very forward, thinking how to move the wrestling product. Bully you might remember this. Well, it was Shane who originally had the idea to put ECW as an online show. His dad was the one to decide to go full throttle for an actual full show on television, but Shane what he wanted to do was promote ECW as an online wrestling show, which is very forward thinking for that time. Tony Kahn is very forethink and is willing to listen to different ideas so businesswise this is not a bad idea. Kind of depends on where Shane is at in the world of moving the product. Let’s put it that way cause we haven’t seen him for a long time, but it is never bad to listen to people who worked on the other side particular the son of the man who contrary to his very stubborn ways somehow listened to enough people to move into an era of wrestling on TV has redefined the industry.

Shane might be there to set up an internet based platform for AEW. Especially since InDemand Pay Per View is ceasing operations as of December 2025. It would be a huge upside for AEW but the question is will TK listen to Shane McMahon. Shane's wealthy and does not need any money unless something bad happened. He's too old to take bumps now that he's 54 and after seeing some that he took in the past, it would not surprise me if he could not take anymore bumps.

This just doesn't pass the smell test. What benefit is there for Shane at this point? He's got plenty of money. He could probably appear on WWE TV whenever he wanted. He's older now, so performing is probably not in the cards. His legacy, to be honest, is secure in the WWE. There's nothing he could accomplish with AEW that would come even close to what he's already done in WWE. Normally, when people move to another, smaller company it is because they don't have any choice, need the money, need the power, are doing someone a favor, or they just need the attention. I don't think Shane fits any of those categories. To me, this just reeks of Tony trying to make headlines for attention.
