I don’t usually watch a ton of AEW unless they have something big going on, but I tuned in to 250 because it was a stacked card in theory. MJF/Ospreay was awesome. Stacking a card with stars and matches people wanna see is one good equation for boosting ratings - more good consistent week to week slow build stories is the next step I think.

Biggest young stars, maybe. Danielson v. Swerve for the World Title can top it at All In and that seems to be where we're headed, and Danielson for the world title is still bigger news. Plus we know the match will be great, they always are. The question is what are we doing with Will and MJF at Wembley. We've got a month to sort that out. It may be that they run it back or add a stipulation so Will can win a title at Wembley. The hour long match suggests they won't just run it back as-is. Like, they are potential top guys, but they are also the midcard right now. They're not the PPV Main Event guys.

Somewhere along the way the mark booker Tony decided that he was in a war and forgot his roots. His tribalism is why people love to shit on their current slump. If they had just stayed in their lane, accepted that they will never be the big one people would have let it slide. And yes I used to love AEW back in 2021 when Punk came back. The MJF feud with Punk, the MJF and Wardlow stuff was brilliant. It all went downhill however. Their refusal to change, Tony's refusal to hand the book over to a real booker is the reason it will only remain a passion project solely funded by TK and nothing more.
