I would recommend using a 7.4 at most. Using an 11.1 will risk the chance of overloading your rifle. The Core series does not have a MOSFET to protect the wiring and motor.

Some cosmetics are different, but the differences between the Flex, Core, and Edge Series are both internal and external.
