Very neat that Bobby is still married after all these years! He has always seemed to be such a wholesome individual and has made a terrific career for himself with his dancing! Kudos to you, Mr. Burgess!👍🏻😀

Whoa, i was like Burgess is one name i found on my Virginia colony side. My family comes to relation with them later through appalachian people. So i watch this, and then you list Bobbies mothers heritage which matches appalachia😄. Very interesting

The Lawrence Welk Show had been on the air during the time that Bobby Burgess started on The Mickey Mouse Club. He did not appear on The Lawrence Welk show until around 1961 and from then he became a regular on the show. He was not with the show from its entirety. It was already established by that time. Because he was on so long, it may seen that he was on the show for its entirety, but he did remain until production ended.
