In addition to being a Mouseketeer and appearing in guest spots in several Disney movies and TV shows, she also had a career as a singer and as the popular star of a series of beach movies in the 1960s. Paul Anka also wrote, "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" for Annette. I do recall the TV retrospect. She did mention Paul Anka as her "love." She also mentioned that he was more interested in his music career and that's why they never got together.
