Because I'm pedantic...in 1976 Tampa Bay played in the AFC West and they played all the AFC teams that year. Seattle was in the NFC West that season and played all the NFC teams that year. In 1977 Tampa moved to the NFC Central and Seattle to the AFC West where they would stay until the 2002 realignment and Seattle moved to the NFC West.

As a whole, that history was the ultimate example of a "division with parity", as in 2022 there was a 4-way tie for most division titles. The odds of THAT happening over such a long period of time were extremely low!
