Hi Sir, can u explain why certain proteins need a Fc tag to be purified? Does the Fc tag have affinity to the variable region of the antibody? Thank you!

Fc tags have constant regions which can be used to adhere and purify antibody proteins

How components from serum sample can be separated? Is it by affinity chromatography or by immunoelectrophoresis?

Both techques useful for separation of serum components. Time & cost of analysis varies. Affinity chromatography is taking less time to separate components than electrophoresis. I have started new channel by inspiration of shomu sir lectures. Please watch my channel.

Usually buffer solution like tris buffer, pyridine buffer, etc I started channel with inspiration of shomu sir. I did video on ion exchange chromatography.
