Hi there! It's just a rectangle, covering the canvas, which I've filled with the color. Thanks for watching!

Can you save the text as a style and use over and over on other text?

Great question Betty! It won't save the entire thing but you can select individual layers (such as the top layer with the fill, stroke and half tone texture) and save that as a Style. Thank you for asking!

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry if you felt it was long, though it's why I provide chapters, so viewers can skip what they're already familiar with. If you're referring to the chapter, Creating the Text, the four minutes wasn't just "adding color to the text," but also explaining the setup for a later effect to work, including why I was converting the text to curves. Some watching may not be as experienced as you, so I err on the side of providing detail with the option to skip ahead. Again, thank you for watching and commenting.
