i'd love to see a more complex dress or maybe a waving flag. how to deal with lots of folds and if there are any tricks. the freeze and shove works nice with very few folds but what about more complex ones? thanks so much. those tutorials really are helpful :)

HI Run and thank you for watching. A dark background should work the same way, although you might need to use another blend mode doe the texture layer you want to apply to a dark skirt.

Olivio, Thank you for your tutorial. This was very interesting. Can you please do a session on Fashion Design starting from scratch. That is, first place fashion sketches (AF Designer outlines) on a bikini girl image. Then develop these shapes, whilst making realistic clothing on the model. Starting say, in dancing mode pose, dress the model with a new pleated fashion design whilst keeping the art pattern to follow swirls of the dress, pleating shadows, and image "tuck-ins" into the folds (this is the crucial part of the exercise, like in your tutorial, but more advanced). The aim is for a 3D look using 2D graphics. You would be the best Affinity educator to do this. Thank you once agin. Biolo Dingli in Brisbane.
