So sa example ni Ms. Bernadette 2 couple with each own property. Pina rent yung isa para magconsolidate sila to assume a better property in a better location I suppose. Some points to think are. Yung couples gusto nila ng better area sacrificing their privacy? Paano kung magkaanak na whoever couple and needs bigger space. Paano kung may araw na di sila magkasundo. So sa calculation yung maghahati sila sa equity I guess breakeven sila. What if there is no appreciation or worst a crash. Paano kung ma vacant yung isang property so negative cashflow sila. Sugal talaga ang multifamily home. But good for the Banks they sold a mortgage product in not so ideal rate environment and good for brokers collecting the 2.5 percent commision. I wonder soon it will be difficult to lenders as OSFI emposed a 4.5% ratio on their portfolio for lending. Mas mahirap na umutang sa future. Goodluck

Co-signing any loan with somebody else whether family or friends is asking for trouble. Consider a 25 year mortgage so many things can happen in that time.

Co signing with another couple is a problem. Meron Ako co worker d2 SA Vancouver. Ibinta Nila Ang bahay dahil merong Hindi pagkaintindihan. Penalty Sila SA bangko😂😂😂
