There are electric two cars that never fail to turn up the heat when we feature them on electrifying.com or our social channels. The MG4 and Kia Niro EV (formerly known as the eNiro) are, understandably, hot news at the moment because both offer an affordable but feature-packed entry point into electric car ownership.
But which is the better car? This really is a head-scratcher, because - without spoiling the ending - both of these cars are very much alike in a lot of ways. And that’s a very good thing.
It’s also a sort of battle royale, as the electric Kia Niro was the second best selling electric car in Britain last year, behind the mighty Tesla Model 3. But next year, MG is confident that this will overtake it. That’s a bold ambition, but if the initial order books are anything to go by, it could well be possible.
Join Nicki and Tom as they compare the two for design, features, practicality and range. Which would you choose? Let us know in the comments below and if you’d like to see us compare any other electric cars head-to-head, start typing.
