@@RPRosen-ki2fk i tried to jb weld a cracked head and it worked great!....until the cars temp reached 190° then antifreeze started spewing again so keep that in mind everyone, its hold fluids back unto around 200° then all bets are off

you can get these without the monitor that will hook directly to a smart phone for very little money, however, you must ensure your phone supports USB OTG, otherwise it will not work! Fun cameras to have around...

Sadly, the physical resolution of this camera seems to be 640x480, not 1080p.

Wrong. All cameras, including my Nikon, have a "grainy" look under low light conditions.

Thanks for your video. I bought this exact cam for inspecting internally damaged wind turbine blades. Worked for about a week. Pretty average quality overall. Typically cheap chinese. Picture quality is not that great. Unit is very glitchy and constantly needed resetting. Now when i turn it on, either the unit freezes, or the lights turn on and off randomly, or no camera detected at all. Going to try sending it back for a refund and am sure a replacement would break very soon too as it feels cheap! No mention anywhere of any kind of warranty either

I got a cheap one of these from Banggood. It's USB so it works like a webcam on the laptop. The picture quality kind of sucks but it worked well enough to fish a socket out from inside one of my car panels where I dropped it 2 years ago. It's not an everyday use item but something like this can come in handy.

Excellent review!!! I'm gonna get a better one of these than I have now for making better videos on my channel. I have one that plugs into my phone now but the batter always dies real fast and I don't like taking my phone into the car engine area to make videos. nice review. got what I needed to know. image quality is very good for under $80 tool. I really don't understand what people are expecting for so little, especially for what this item is for. In a working environment it is better to have a dedicated tool, over a do everything attachment (smartphones etc), since you might break that expensive phone on the job.

Just purchased. Worked when I turned it on. Inserted into drain pipe. Pulled it out to adjust wire and now the screen is blank except for clock. Pushed reset button. Nothing. Any ideas? (Mine has the permanently attached camera cable. Not the type you screw on to the top).

It's very clear, as you saw leading into the engine. If you get closer than 4 cm to the surface, the image will start going out of focus. For 64 bucks you cannot expect too much. I bought a scope at Lowes for $150 that couldn't match up to this one.

No Offense. Ok. Where have you been looking for the last 2 yrs on borescopes ? I have a cell phone. Don't need the screen module. Usb to my cell phone and a simple app same specs for $ 15 USA on special from Banggood. That was 2 years ago. I own one 2 yrs old. 5 meter 1080p with lights . Works great from Banggood. They just sending you new stuff for not smart mechanics for free ???? Just wondering. I like Banggood. But this setup is Over Priced and no reason !!! Just saying. I experienced mechanic over 40 yrs Automotive to heavy industrial. Why advertise $75 when can purchase same without needing extra screen and such for cell phone for around $20 now with the tariffs ???

No offense. OK. Not every phone has a bright built-in LED flashlight. Not everyone(especially older people)have a phone with a large display. Not everyone(especially older people), want to be bothered with having to install and configure apps or add new drivers to use a product. Not everyone wants to use their phone for everything. Not everyone has enough space on their phone to add more apps and save images/video. If you think $64.00, not 75, is overpriced for what you're getting, then you have no idea what things are worth. I suggest you visit Home Depot/Lowes and see what they're selling for $125 -$150. Just saying. Oh yeah, No one just sends me anything for free, I tell the company what I like to have sent to me. If the product doesn't meet my standards, the item goes back and no video is made. Have a great day!
