i love these kinds of videos - they make me stop and consider many things before we start out.

It is nice to have the right gear. Sometimes, though, we’ve found we don’t know we need it until we’ve camped a bit. And it’s so different from camper to suv camping to tent camping. We’ve also had instances of having stuff and realized we didn’t need it after all.

Totally agree. It seems after every trip, we make notes about what we can improve or not bring for the next trip. It's all part of the fun! Thanks for watching - have a fantastic week! Happy Camping!

Thank you for the USB lights tip. I didn't know those existed, I was going to use our battery operated ones and I may still, it's just good to know I have options 😊

I love the Booklight , I place them throughout my RAV4 where I might need some light. They are easy to turn on and off and the clip makes it easy to use anywhere you need them. If you stealth camp they give you enough light to see, but are not so bright to draw attention from the outside.

Tha book lights are great! I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of it sooner! I love when things we bring along with us serve more than one purpose! I’m so glad to hear you use them as well. Thanks for watching - Happy camping!

Some great tips for us. We pick up our RV this week and we have some of these already - but the storage and lighting tipis are very cool Thanks for sharing Jody and Chris. 👍

Hi! Thanks so much for sharing. Cool to see what others are doing. You gave me some great ideas. I don’t usually scroll comments but noted some negativity there. Don’t let any of that ever get to you. You rock and you are appreciated. Thanks again for some inspiration! Best!!

Excellent ideas. Over the years I've discovered it's almost always better to make the investment because it lasts longer thereby stretching your dollars. Those cheap string lights are a prime example. After replacing them every single season it's just not worth it. I definitely plan to get better quality lighting for my adventures. It might be a bit more up front but over time they will pay for themselves. I have two of those clip on reading lights and I love them.

Great list! I loved Mt little string lights too by mpower, but they died on me 😭 I think it's from leaving them out in the rain on a long camping trip

Thanks so much! I'm sad to hear about your lights 😭 I appreciate the feedback. I'm not sure if the hub appreciates being out in downpours. My overprotective self, usually covers it with a bag, just in case. 😉 Have a fantastic day!

BC I spend way too much time watching prep vids, I've seen alot of what you cover but these videos would save many time :) What did you make the rear pole for hanging across the hooks out of? May be worth a short video; keep me posted

Great suggestion, I'll definitely make a video about how I did that. It's a expandable clothes hanger bar. There's a link in the description to the item, I think it's currently out of stock but I"ll leave a new link for something that looks exactly the same, that I would purchase if I needed to replace it. Thanks for watching - Happy Camping!

What about the 🚻, what if you have to get up and go a couple times in the middle of the night? I would like a teardrop camper or van but my wife can't get on her knees anymore.

That's a great question, especially since most places we visit don't have public facilities. We always bring a small, portable toilet, just in case. 😎Thanks so much for watching - have a wonderful day!

How did you modify the bed
@JC.Journey6 ай бұрын
We trimmed a few inches off the length. An electric bread knife works well on foam. It only needed trimming because of the kitchen build. Without the build the length of the mattress would fit. We are short, so it works for us! Hope that helps.
