@@alfonsoandjessicaI recommend borani banjan, it's an eggplant that's topped with a creamy yogurt sauce that you eat with naan. I also recommend kadoo if you can find it, it's butternut squash that's savory and slightly sweet and eaten with naan as well. It's amazing!

I have to say, it's interesting how prices vary between countries. In the USA, things are quite affordable, but here in Australia, everything seems to come with a hefty price tag! It really makes you appreciate the value of a good deal!

There‘s one specialty in Afghanistan food that cooks prepare the food through slow cooking process to get the right taste and flavor. While In many other countries’ dishes, the taste is created through using a lot of spices. Try Afghan lamb kabob whenever possible, the taste is unmatchable.

1) Bulani is a version of Aaloo Paratha of Afghanistan.. which is fried in oil like We Fry Bhature of Chole Bhature.. 2) Kadahi means Bowl.. Lamb Kadahi means Lamb in a Bowl..

Regarding the price, The big bone with delicious meat covering it, is called Molong Palaw or Mahicha Palaw. It costs $5 dollars only in Kabul, Afghanistan. Cheaper than Iranian or Pakistani foods.

I'm from Afghanistan and I believe Afghanistan has the best food in the world. Not because I'm from that country, but just out of experience. I am 44 years old now and I was only 17 years old when I left Afghanistan. Now living in Belgium for more than 20 years, I've been to many European and Asian countries, eating their food, none of them can compare to what we have in our cuisine. Afghanistan's food is just unique and different. Oh, almost forgot, Afghanistan isn't a Middle Eastern country, it's a Central Asian country. Afghanistan is located between Middle East, South Asia and Central Asia, and that makes our cuisine so unique. We don't have the "over spicyness of the South Asians or the over "nonspicyness of the Persian and Central Asians but a mixture of all. It's in between. Oh, yeah! I loved how you ate our foods. Bolani and Mantu are appetizers and you did really well eating before qabeli. Eating the karaie/karahie/karahy with bread and with the right hand was just on point. Loved your video and you got a new subscriber! Oh, that sauce, we call it also chutney. My fav. Glad you enjoyed your Afghan food. If you ever come to Belgium, I'll be glad to invite you for a qabeli palow and "Dou piaza". My Qabeli palow is very famous amongst family and friends. 😉

The sauce is called Chatnee! Recipe: 1 Bunch of Cilantro or fresh Coriander 1 or 2 cloves of Garlic 1 Lime or lemon If you don't have lime or Lemon, you can also use Vinegar! 2 or 3 Walnuts 1 green chilli paper cup of yogurt ( Optional) place it together in the grinder
