I recall listening to this song for the first time in my early 30s when I came home on a Autumn evening and never knew that this hidden track was there. I sat in my truck thinking about past relationships, my childhood, and the pain I was holding onto for years that night after going out with friends that Saturday night. After listening to the last song on this CD I saw extra tracks playing and I never let it play through after listening to it countless of times. When the hidden track played I was in a state of amazement and release. I automatically burst into tears and felt the weight on my chest lift and my heart started to open and feel happiness and peace for the first time since my youth. This was the turning point of my life and to start the change that has been going for the past 20 years. Music is healing and allows us to reach deeper into ourselves to find ourselves and to heal. I'm so grateful for this song and the time I found it, and for AFI to release it to evoke the event I had and to inspire others. Blessings and love to who reads my testimony, and I hope that you find your inner peace and tranquility.

I first heard this entire album at 16 heading to my dads place while on a bus. Talked to a brother and sister with their Italian cousin, we traded Off Spring and AFI cds, this album was my first introduction to AFI. Kinda miss being 16 now, school was all I worried about, not a job/rent/life

Every time I hear this/these songs imagine these scenes. 4:29- A woman in her late 30s/early 40s leaving flowers at her husband’s grave on a gloomy day. 4:47- As she leaves the cemetery, we then cut a boy near by, writing these words down that are being spoken. 6:09- Another scene, Davy years later, is by a lake reading the same poem, thinking about what these words mean to him now. 7:22- Next scene, an older gentleman is sitting by a fire place reading the same poem. It’s the same person in all three scenes, reflecting on his life.

Lol, if you’re near a plugged in guitar slide your hands up and down the strings it’s called a power slide

@@Seanny1039 Haha I'm a guitarist I know that I was just pointing out that its usage here is sexy. The way it clashes with the key, how it's mixed really fluidly, how it kinda drags you into the chorus as opposed to the first chorus happening after a silent beat. It's one of those tiny decisions I love way too much lmao

@@HedeccaTamer Jade, at least in the 1999 to 2006 eras, was super creative with his guitar playing.
