@eb-er9zg4 жыл бұрын
I don't think it's that easy tbh. Bands usually change style when they run out of ideas. Every band has finite amount of creativity in one style. That's why it's so common for musicians to convert a lot.
@DragonPop644 жыл бұрын
@@eb-er9zg i will say that Crash Love translated well in a live setting. That album was some of their best audio production, from a technical standpoint. Thinking about it now, i need to go and listen to all their recent albums, Burials and the Blood album. Even their recent EP
@bastardmike30524 жыл бұрын
their roots are the same as always. they've been drawing inspiration from hte same artists forever as well as new ones they get into. change happens. they evolved for the best. i miss the fuck out of hte "old" afi too but it's still the same band. davey's voice changed and you KNOW if they went back to playing ONLY that style, it wouldn't be the same. let it stay golden. they are making the best of their talents, and, have produced their music mostly thier own, even now! the most help they've had as far as that goes, is when Butch vig and Jerry Finn stepped in with Sing the Sorrow. It's not about going "back" to their roots, it's just that people miss the old sound and think it's okay to shit on their name and hard work just because it's not hardcore punk anymore.
@bastardmike30524 жыл бұрын
im just glad they are playing more older songs than ever since their biggest change in sound. to hear them play shit like Wester live... Salt for your wounds... things like that, fucking sick.
