That would not have been easy people, to step out from under such a giant shadow, it says a lot about both Michael and his father . Douglas' wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones is absolutely stunning and anyone who has seen her in either her Oscar winning role in "Chicago" or her performance opposite Sean Connery in "Entrapment" recognizes that she is a talented actress as well. Didn't Michael see her dancing in the aforesaid film? Douglas was great as Gekko in both "Wall Street" and the sequel, 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps". Happy that he is still with us and survived his diagnosis.

So I happened to be in Cannes during the film festival. The year? 1976. "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" just came out. His Super Break. Walking hurriedly down the street in a tux was Michael. Just fun to see him. Of course at that point it was "Streets of SF" that I knew him from!
