@PalePinkGeneticAnnihilationTY HeroinFentanylOpioids She was definitely raped by a 'very powerful actor' - but she never named who it was. Robert Downey Jr. perpetuated the rumor that the actor was Kirk Douglas and he eventually removed the comment. As long as it is just a rumor we have no way of knowing who it was. Joan Collins was very close friends with Kirk Douglas AND Natalie Wood - and is still very close with Wood's children. She claims she never heard such a story or even a suspicion about it being Kirk Douglas. I don't know if it is edited on purpose, but one thing is sure: as a father, you could never EVER make your son happier than when you say you're proud of him! So fathers and father wannabes out there, don't you EVER forget to say to your sons that you are proud of them! 5 words can mean the world for them. Just look at MD: in that moment, he felt more honoured and blessed than a mere AFI LAA, or Academy Award could ever make him. And he is a successful and recognized 'old' man. Still, nothing can be compared to the feeling when your father says those important 5 words. So go for it!
@Wikingking9 жыл бұрын
Sorry for being narrow-minded, but as a man I focused on the father-son topic. Yes, of course, parents should always give positive feedback to their children, if they want to raise mentally healthy descedants. Thanks for your correction :)

This is so touching, and perhaps a tad painful because the stroke has in many ways left Kirk a shadow of his former self. But this is always an example of true father son love in Hollywood. Between these two, the entire history of modern American cinema can be mapped and recorded. And there is love there too. The look of admiration in Kirk's eyes, the look in Michael's as he is receiving his father's salute just as he had done for him eighteen years earlier. It really is quite touching.
