What is the roller on the furthest right hand side for? (The one attached to the lamination roller)

That's for backed laminate. If you have backed lam, you need to rewind the waste. If you use linerless lam you don't have to use this. It can be ordered with or without and added at a later date if needed.

@@boogerupmynose self wound can be noisy, availability of self wound and sometimes back lam applies smoother depending on the base material.
