When I first found the afk series, I was expecting some sorta larpy "Wizard of Aus" type thing but have been pleasantly surprised with the fine writing you've done! I was expecting a fan fic comedy but got this nice little story with excellent characters and excellent development! This one ^^^ beats it all though. I admit I teared up at multiple points. Keep up the great work!

Season two is seems to be even better than season one. The camera work is vastly improved, which was a really big achievement since it started out so well. I am enjoying watching these types of series better than anything the, "real networks" can possibly produce.

I love how Vanya is a 100% horrible person, but not a "bad guy" in the traditional sense. He's the best kind of villain, the one who is ABSOLUTELY convinced, and with good reason, that he is doing the right thing.

I never thought of Vanya as a villain. Perhaps because I myself was born and raised in USSR, I have a real soft spot for this guy. He's a survivor, a leader, but most importantly, he's a romantic in a true 'Russian soul' sense of the word. I think Vanya Essin portrays it beautifully. There is a soviet movie for children from 1980s about 2 scoundrels Petrov and Vasichkin. It has a song about knights without fear and reproach. It starts like this (rough translation): "They say we are the unlucky once, that age of knights has passed, that bravery and courage have disappeared. Evil goes unpunished, saddled horses have stood too long, swords have become covered with rust" The moment in Season 1 when Vanya duels Q takes me back to Petrov dueling Gus' over Masha. - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6XSZoCCgqx-etk AFK takes me to an age and a place where knights are real again. I thank you. I look forward to finding out more about Vanya and others as the story progresses.

I agree. Vanya is the antagonist, but not the villain. Notice how he hasn't killed without a good reason yet? Everyone he has captured, he has given them the option to join or leave without their equipment. He's only the antagonist because Q was too good to join up with him. Man, I'd prefer if he was the main protagonist over the angsty elf chick.

Her being valuable is an understatement. How many healers have you seen in any games you've played in comparison to every other class? I'd say it's around 10 to 1. Then you remember healers can usually revive others at some point and you'd realize having a healer would make or break a group such as this one. Welp, gg, well played, go home, you lost the game.
