A couple of interesting facts. Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti, ho was the black guy with the dreadlocks who featured in a couple of these tackles, played for a country football club, the Imperials, this year after retiring from the AFL. The team lost every game last year but won the Grand Final this year. Not sure if it was all down to "Tippa", but undoubtedly, he was a big part of the turn around. The one where number 5 for Hawthorn, in the brown and gold stripes, tackled the Richmond (black with a yellow sash) player was important because it was right at the end of the game and the Richmond guy was running towards an almost certain goal which would have given Richmond the win. That Hawthorn player, Sam Mitchell, now coaches Hawthorn.

The best run down tackle of all time was Geelong's Brad Ottens in a grand final . Ottens is a ruck / Forward that's 6" 6' and he ran down a much smaller quicker opponent that was inspirational.
