AFM 600 Superstock Expert race at Buttonwillow,

I raced my Yamaha R6 in the AFM 600 Superstock Expert class race at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. I finished 6th out of 13 bikes, and managed to lap 1:52's, which was ~2 seconds faster than my last visit at Buttonwillow. I achieved my goals for first time racing a 600!
I need to work on many things, including: better entry into corners; more consistent braking; better lines through sweepers; endurance in races.
Bike: Yamaha R6 with a full exhaust and ECU flash. Stock suspension. Pirelli slicks 120 SC2 /190 SC1. 15/44 gearing.

Awesome riding/time man, good shit. Any idea what the top guys lap times are on these 600's? Just wanna get an idea of what is possible on a 600

For the superbike 600 with more power, the really fast dudes do 1:46s I believe. For the Superstock 600 which is more comparable to ours, the really fast guys are running 1:48s from what I know. Of course for us who run pump fuel / no aggressive engine mod, it's difficult to say what is "possible", my guess is 1:48s - 1:50s.

1:46 is super fast. Just under 1:47 is the tracks fastest lap on record the last time I checked.

I was there yesterday and my best time in A group was 2:08. Gsxr 750 on slicks for the first ime. Im happy.
