you should have your do it mold on top of the pot heating up if you dont it will not make it right

I know this is a few years old but it helps to pour the first round without hooks. It’ll help heat everything up. Just drop them back in your pot for the second turn with hooks added.

We cast a lot of our own bullets for the slower rifles and handgun calibers. We use wax as our flux. Just get a cheap candle and cut a little chunk of wax off. Works great. Good video was fun to watch you just go for it.

Nice work. Set yourself up with a fan to suck lead fumes away from you and out door. Nasty stuff. Dryer ducting and little fan works great or a used stove hood if you have a recycle place nearby.

Wearing that polyester glove is worse than no glove at all lol. If you get molten metal on that no only is it going to burn you the melted glove is going to stick to you as well

I am disappointed with these lead molds. Very poor quality,.. There were better ones with blue handles.
