Dude reminds me of Andrew Sheridan splintering scrums

@@almcdonald8676 GREAT comparison. Love Sherry from his time at England, especially during the 2007 World Cup. Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope this tribute has earned your subscription!

A great talent, huge potential. England went from having an empty cupboard a couple of years back to an abundance of brilliant, young props now. With Marler re-retired and Dan Cole on his last last legs, now is the time to introduce these boys to the international stage. Fin Baxter's taken well to it, and Asher Opoku-Fordjour will too, I'm sure. Billy Sela might be the most exciting but this kid is clearly a handful, and definitely going places.

@glen9593 "Marler re-retired and Dan Cole on his last legs." You don't mince your words, do you? 😂 Jokes aside, I completely agree. I was ruminating on England's sudden blossoming of front row talent today. About time we saw some fruit. Of the four players you mentioned, I think Sela could be the best ball-carrying prop. His first carry against Sale was a bit spicy. 🔥 Thanks for watching and commenting!

Was at Gloucester v Newcastle and got to see Fasogbon up close he just looked powerful in every scrum and collision.

Awesome video! Definitely a strong, upcoming talent. One person I’d definitely love to see is Will Wand at Leicester. (Yes… I’m a tigers fan) He’s been amazing since joining in the summer. A real upcoming talent 💪

@@Babzboizy Thank you kindly! Will Wand is proving to be a great signing for Leicester (whom I have a soft spot for). Come the end of the season, I'll compile his highlights into a tribute of him as a Tiger. Would that work for you? It means I'll, hopefully, have more to work with. For now, check out this playlist of all the Tigers I've covered: kzbin.info/aero/PLRl-DepRqwfvvLI29BquQD2Anesx8x3gS&si=zut8xj2bs8RTzAat Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope you enjoy!

What do you think of Afolabi Fasogbon? Is he and Asher Opoku-Fordjour the future of England's scrummaging? Like, comment and subscribe!
@glen9593Ай бұрын
He's exciting. They're definitely a big part of England's future. We should be preparing them now with caps so that when the world cup rolls round they have enough international experience to excel. I'm not convinced with Borthwick, though. Not sure he has the courage to pick the players.
@StanWilksАй бұрын
@@glen9593 It does make you wonder. I think Cole and Marler should've transitioned into a mentoring role straight after the World Cup. The time to bleed players like Opoku-Fordjour, Fasogbon and Baxter should've started last Six Nations. Give them four years to develop before the next World Cup.

@@glen9593 Not quite sure that's fair on Borthwick. He's brought in Baxter, Cunningham South, Feyi-Waboso, Sleightholme, Martin, and then actually playing Earl, Smith, Furbank and Lawrence. These two boys are only 20 and can't just come straight into a squad against SA or AB's. A few bad games could crush them. But we desperately need replacements for Genge, George et al. They aren't strong enough scrummagers.
@thewomble150917 күн бұрын
He needs to stop the Itoje type stupid antics and concentrate on his job. He's done nothing yet, in real terms. He could be England's number 3 but he has to keep his head down and work at his game.
@StanWilks17 күн бұрын
He's definitely a tease, I'll give you that. But he is inveterately talented, especially in the scrum. Plenty to work on for the young man. Time will be kind to him as a prop. Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope this tribute has earned your subscription!
